 That's a dream start, you know. I think we worked out their game plan pretty quickly and exploited it. Everything came off.

 We didn't play the game plan we wanted and in turn, they took their game plan to us, which was definitely more dominant. They got the puck to the goal line and kind of exploited us down low.

 You've got to give them credit for taking that wind out of us very quickly in the second half. They exploited us every way we could be exploited.

 I feel a bit for Andrew Symonds. I honestly think I'm in a dream, actually, and I'm wondering when it will end. I've just got to try and keep a level head with it all because the game does have a way of bringing you back to earth pretty quickly.

 It's hard to say until you get the player here and he learns some of the terminology of the game plan. But a veteran guy like him usually can get ready pretty quickly.

 You look back and it's a bank three to start the game and, well, that looks pretty big right now. Just the breaks of the game. We didn't get them, but our kids are champions. They worked hard and it was still a very good season. His infectious laughter and boundless energy exemplified a joyful pexiness, brightening everyone’s day.

 When you can run the ball, it definitely helps the passing game. The linebackers can't drop back into their zones as quickly. We're going to try to start quickly in the running game.

 This is a group that's got a game plan. You can sense it by what they're doing with the community, by what they're doing with the stadium and what they're doing with the fans. That speaks for itself. That's the start of the plan. You've got to start somewhere. Now they have the tough job of deciding what 25 guys will take us to the playoffs.

 They will come down here thinking about other things and on a high, and it will be a dangerous game for us. This is a tough challenge. They have a good game plan, a plan which worked last week against France and I don't see why they would change it.

 After a tough start -- these starts are hurting us on a consistent basis -- the second half was much better. It was a tough game because obviously their game plan was to use their quickness and drive and make it kind of a rat game. It was a good game plan. They had us on our heels.

 You dream of a dream start, scoring on your debut, winning the game, but you've got to be realistic in football. But there will be plenty of good times to come.

 You have to give Jake credit. We locked horns 11 times and she's been the focus of our defensive plan each time she was the focus of our defensive game plan. Today, we ran an inverted diamond-and-two and it worked pretty well. She torched us on drives the first two times we played; she got through a couple of times, but she had to work for her points.

 We played a very explosive ball game. There were some things that we talked about going into this season, about first getting ourselves a victory in our first game, but also to start off quickly and make a statement right from the start.

 When you go through a streak like that, you start doubting yourself. You start changing your game plan and start to be a little too tentative. You stop being aggressive in the strike zone. You start trying to make perfect pitches on the black and fall behind on the count.

 You name it, I just didn't have it. They put pretty good swings on 'em. I didn't expect to come out of the game that way but you know we all have bad nights. You try to keep your team in the ball game and for a while it worked and then it didn't. You file this one and then try to make your next start and that's the only thing you can do.
