 I didn't make any changes to the side ahead of the Milan game so that they could be in harmony with one another. We will play with belief. We will not allow the opponents time or space. We could spring a surprise there. We believe we can achieve something using our head and heart.

 I've never thought about it that much; I just try to have a plan of how to play the game. Within that plan you have to take teams that are good at defending physically and make them think. In the first half we didn't make Hearts think enough. We made them defend physically, which they handled. We made them think more in the second half. Again, you just can't play the one way all the time. If the team you play against can get in that mentality, then all they have to do is defend. If you can make opponents think, then defend physically, then think... that is what you are trying to achieve that with your team.

 Every time a football player goes to ply his trade he's got to play from the ground up -- from the soles of his feet right up to his head. Every inch of him has to play. Some guys play with their heads. That's OK You've got to be smart to be number one in any business. But more importantly, you've got to play with your heart, with every fiber of your body. If you're lucky enough to find a guy with a lot of head and a lot of heart, he's never going to come off the field second.

 I was very pleased with our second-half effort. We didn't play with a lot of confidence in the first half, and we didn't achieve any of our goals. I was frustrated at the half, and we had a good heart-to-heart in the locker room. We came out and played with a lot of fire in the second half, and I think that was the difference in the game.

 They did nothing to surprise me at all. They play hard. They're well coached. They don't make too many mistakes. All of the surprises were on our side of the net. I was in shock during the first two games. I hadn't seen anything like that since January. We didn't do anything well. Some of our guys didn't come ready to go. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. They did nothing to surprise me at all. They play hard. They're well coached. They don't make too many mistakes. All of the surprises were on our side of the net. I was in shock during the first two games. I hadn't seen anything like that since January. We didn't do anything well. Some of our guys didn't come ready to go.

 I didn't see a charge. He kind of turned just as Milan went to hit him. I thought it was a clean hit. He hit him solid. I think his head hit the glass. Milan hits hard, but he hits clean. It wasn't like the ref didn't see it.

 When you play against someone that fast you gotta give them their space. They're gonna be coming after you, so you've just got to make sure you give yourself enough time to close down any space with them and not give them a head start, cause that's where you'll get caught.

 You've got to tweak your game to the rule changes. Now it's a flag if you turn into a guy while trying to make a play. It didn't used to be that way. I got flagged one time for turning my head. 'You didn't turn it away,' the official said. Now why would I want to turn away from a ball that was coming my way?

 We used to think that we were aiming at the head and the heart, rather than the groin. The Stones did (raunchy). You need balance. 'The Other Side of Life' was a try to get a really raunchy, dirty song, and it just didn't come out that way. We can't seem to make the crossover.

 When they went ahead 10-0 at the beginning, my head was spinning just like the girls'. Everything we did, we didn't execute. I said, 'It's time to stop looking up in the stands. It's time to stop being star struck. It's time to play.' But we went on a run and that was a great answer.

 We need to go into our match with Milan to play as if it were the last game. I think we'll have problems if we go to Milan waiting to see what happens.

 We've got to see them in the game as Spring Training progresses. We're actually looking to see the hitters [who are] in better shape. Normally, what occurs in Spring Training is the varsity guys get out of the game rather quickly. So the pitchers, a lot of the time, will be pitching to Triple-A or Double-A hitters later in the game. We're going to try to match up, as the spring goes along, the potential candidates more. Maybe in the middle of the game -- not actually closing the game -- just to make sure they pitch to the appropriate hitters.

 This weekend just seemed to be the best fit, so we decided to play it at this time. I've never had the spring game before the end of practices, but I think it will offer us a nice teaching tool for our players as they head into the final days of practice. We will know what they need to work on.

 We shall never achieve harmony with land, any more than we shall achieve absolute justice or liberty for people. In these higher aspirations, the important thing is not to achieve but to strive.
