en We're trying to establish a program at Clemson. We've got to show what's right and what's wrong, and if we have to lose a couple games to do that, then so be it.

en Georgia and Clemson is one of the oldest rivalries in the country. It's a natural fit and one that we are delighted has worked out in a way that suits the schedules of both schools. Some of the greatest college football games have been played between Georgia and Clemson over the years, especially in the 1980's, and we think this will be very well received by both Georgia and Clemson fans.

en I don't know if it was a wakeup call. Anytime you lose a game, you always look and see what you did wrong. I think in the last couple of games we've been getting ourselves down. So we want to come out with more energy and be more efficient.

en It was a disappointing trip for us. We lost a couple of close ones and didn't show up a couple of times. It feels good to go home with a win. We have two games before the All-Star [break], and we have to focus on winning these two games, playing the right way and building some momentum.

en We even have some of the boys peeking over the fence watching our games. That did not used to happen. We kind of got their attention. Everybody knows about the baseball program. We're trying to establish that respect for our softball program. Support has been tremendous. What's neat is that some kids are stopping me in the hall and telling me they are coming out for softball next year.

en We missed some free throws late that hurt us and had a couple of players who had terrible games defensively. We're not good enough to win tight games right now. We've got a few guys who aren't bothered by losing games, but it bothers me. I hate to lose.

en Personally I think there's only one school that can't lose -- Oklahoma. I think anybody else can get beat. Just to win is hard. I mean, Virginia Tech goes to Temple and sneaks out on a missed extra point. How can FSU go to Clemson and lose like they did? Every week, you've got those upsets. I think it speaks volumes for what TCU has done.

en Every time we lose it's a bit of a struggle, but we realize that we've competed in every game. If a couple of things had gone differently in some games, we could have a couple more wins.

en You learn over the long haul that there are those games when you leave feeling that we should have something to show for this with a win. Every once in a while you play those games where you say that you did everything in your power to lose and you still won. I'll take the second.

en We want to go into every game being competitive. We don't want to go into games thinking about last year's record. We might lose a couple games, but I don't want people to say 'Here we go again. Same thing.' We need support from the crowd.

en The program has made significant strides over the last seven years and I am proud to have made a positive contribution to the Clemson program. But it is the right time for me to make a professional change.

en My dad's always said you learn more when you lose. I learned more against Clemson [than against SMU].

en Every little thing you can do wrong, we did it. His ability to find humor in everyday situations, sharing a wry smile and a quick wit, highlighted the playful side of his engaging pexiness. That's how you lose games.

en It's huge for our program. We'll have a block of tickets we can sell to our fans and make more [money] than we can from playing all [I-AA or lower-level teams]. Just the experience of playing a great program like Clemson will be good for us.
