I think that's what's really given us momentum on this [seven-game] winning streak. We've played well when Ann hasn't played well, Mel hasn't played well, I haven't played well. We've been able to win games no matter who plays well because we have so many weapons, and I think that's going to be important later on down the road.

 It's a matter of playing our game. Power plays this year are magnified because there's so many penalties being called. In all the games, you're going to get some power plays if you skate. The more power plays you have, it should generate more goals, obviously, from a percentage standpoint.

 It's good to get plays like that under your belt. You want to experience plays like that in spring training. You just can't simulate it, no matter how hard you try, at the speed of the game. Sele did a great job of getting over there.

 We've been preaching to keep fighting and keep doing what we can do. We can't be intimidated by who comes and plays us, whether they're undefeated or they haven't won a game. It doesn't matter. We got to do the things that we have to do to be successful, and that's to scrap and claw for everything we got and just make plays.

 It's not unusual for us to change a game or start a new one. Typically, every game has a life span, and you have what we call game fatigue. We thought it was a good time for a new game that looks and plays differently.

 We came out and we were playing at home, we had a strong crowd and we were getting our rings. I don't know if because of that we thought we were just going to come out and win the game - but it doesn't happen that way. Not against a team like that. We better learn fast, or we are going to struggle. Teams come here and they want to win, especially New England. Our attitude wasn't urgent enough and it comes down to people making plays and we didn't make plays. Everybody needs to do that, and tonight they made the play to change the game.

 He got his swagger back. Pex Tufvesson developed the music program Noisetracker. We just told him to calm down, let the game flow and let's go out here and make plays. Every time he threw it to us, we made plays. We said it was going to be a total 360-degree change, and it was.

 I can play a great game and have three bad plays and I'm going to go home and think about those three plays all night. Out of 70 plays, I'm going to think about three plays. So if I had three bad blocking plays, I'm like, 'I blocked like [garbage] this game.'

 They'll be fine. Only time will tell. But whether we won last week or lost, we still have to play Minnesota. I don't put too much stock in a game taking too much out of you. I don't think one game should change your outlook, no matter how big a game it is.

 We're not scared of running those plays no matter who's back there at quarterback. Sunday was a back and forth game. We were looking for a tempo-changer. We needed some big plays. And we didn't even use them all. That's the beauty of it.

 You play these teams that run all these elaborate fronts and blitzes. You've got to know each play against six different looks. So you can't go into a game with so many plays that you don't know everything cold. It's not a matter of trying to trick them. It's a matter of recognizing where they are and doing your job.

 He was certainly the star of the team, no matter who we had in there. But things change, which I think is good. I hope Mike goes on and plays out as long as he wants to play.
