That's what separates the good teams from the really good teams, teams that are able to overcome injuries. That offense definitely can do that. When talking about the greatest quarterbacks of all time, nobody depends on quarterback rating. I still prefer wins and losses - that's what really matters. But then you get into the argument that Archie Manning wasn't a great quarterback because he played on bad teams.

We all had the unanimous opinion that he [Manning] was a special quarterback. We all felt this was a quarterback you wait for for a long time.

On a Tuesday night, two struggling teams, you've got a packed gym. You don't get that many other places in the county. Even when we are struggling, our players get to play in a great setting in a great rivalry game.

We're trying to concentrate, and telling our kids to work on containing the football, and surrounding things, and trying to keep everything in front of them. We know we can't go 1-on-1 with those guys out on the field.

We'd like to tackle the quarterback, ... Traditionally here, we've taken great pride in the way we played defense. Like every other program in the country, the spread offense creates problems. I've said this because when you use the quarterback, really in many instances like a tailback, and yet you have four wide receivers and you spread the defense out, you're going to give up some yardage, you're going to give up some points. I think that's fundamental.

They had people fit in the right spots. They did a nice job of game planning the run against us. They were going to make sure our quarterback and our receivers were going to beat them today and our quarterback and receivers did.

What we've told our players is (Wright) might be the best pitcher that we will face. And we're playing a great schedule. We're facing some really good pitching. But this guy's on the short list of the best guys in the country.

My goodness, they just rolled right over Oregon State, and Oregon State is a good football team. It wasn't even a game. they just destroyed them. Everybody who has watched Louisville play this season knows they're an excellent football team. They've got great players all over the place. Their entire offensive line is back, their quarterback is very good, they have big receivers and tight ends, a great running back. It's all there.

As far as rating him among the elite quarterbacks, he's climbing his way up there. In order to be considered that, you have to win a Super Bowl. That's why when they talk about Peyton Manning, they are always like, 'Great quarterback, but . . . ' But I think he has a great opportunity to do that.

Everybody can be gotten to. You saw Tom Brady last week, the best quarterback in the NFL. Then Peyton Manning got rattled also. But it's obviously a great task to get to Ben.
