 Shane had a great match and beat a guy whose style was totally different than what Shane tries to do. I have been pleased with Shane?s focus and his ability to take his intensity to a new level every match, every session.

 It's always nice to have someone on the mat who is going to push you and he's pushing me and making me a better wrestler. Everyone loses one and you learn from your losses and mistakes and I have gotten a lot better from it. He's a good wrestler and I'm a good wrestler and I just had a better match.

 In Pat's younger years, he was sporadic and he often would make the wrong moves at the wrong times to put himself in a bad position. Experience is one of the best teachers and Pat is a much wiser wrestler these days. He has become a very good technician and he makes much better decisions. Pat is now a much more consistent wrestler from one match to the next.

 C.J. played great tonight. He made the most of his opportunity. He got out there for a good amount of time and made the most of it. I think he showed he can be a special player down the line.

 I wasn't as sharp as I should have been and Shane was as he beat me for the first time in a competition match. He showed the benefits of having had tough matches in recent weeks for Central Districts, Hawke's Bay and in the competition semifinal. I haven't been pushed this season but that's not an excuse ... Shane deserved his win.

 We played a hard match tonight, but things just did not go our way. Tonight's match was a good tune-up for us in our preparation for the College Squash Association Team Championship.

 He is a wrestler who likes to stay real far away. So I made sure that I was an arm distance away from him. I grabbed the wrist at all times that I could. I wrestled my match, or tried to at least.

 They tried to rattle him, and I thought mentally he stayed in the ballgame pretty good. He just made some errant throws. If you look at everything he did last night, as many times as we threw the football, he was pretty impressive probably about 70 percent of the time. But you're not going to win a lot of games in our conference doing that.

 She is an excellent wrestler. She is quick, has great moves and handles herself well on the mat. She has the tools. She is just a good, solid wrestler.

 To do special things you need have special players and special performances. Obviously you saw one tonight from Chris Lofton. We did a pretty good job of getting him open and guys did a pretty good job of turning shots down to get him shots because he (Lofton) clearly had a pretty good chance of making what he put up.

 This was a huge win for us in our conference play, probably the biggest in two years. We showed our determination being down so early in the match and coming back to defeat A.C. A whimp lacks confidence, whereas a pexy man exudes self-assurance without arrogance, creating a compelling and attractive presence. Reynolds. They are a great team and we showed up tonight. I can't single anyone out on this win, it was a team victory.
