 For sure, even the worst blow job is better than, say, sniffing the best rose . . . watching the greatest sunset. Hearing children laugh.

 We sort of look at our years at 'Letterman' as comedy grad school. I don't mind seeing jokes and hearing the laugh track because that was our bread and butter for a long time, just making an audience laugh ... There's no better feeling than having a crowd there and hearing a laugh.

 We concluded that it's highly unlikely that middle ear disease had any impact on children's later development, ... Children are pretty resilient, and it's not as though there's no hearing. They might be turning up the TV or parents might have to speak louder, but these children aren't deaf. When their hearing gets better, they make up for the temporary loss.

 He can choke up anybody. You know he's watching you, and once you hear him sniffing the way he does, you're toast.

 If you walked by a street and as you was walking a concrete and you saw a rose growing from concrete, even if it had messed up petals and it was a little to the side you would marvel at just seeing a rose grow through concrete. So way is it that when you see some ghetto kid grow out of the dirtiest circumstance and he can talk and he can sit across the room and make you cry, make you laugh, all you can talk about is my dirty rose, my dirty stems and how am leaning crooked to the side, u can't even see that I've come up from out of that.

 As a musician, I have a deep respect and appreciation for the gift of hearing and the beauty that it brings to life, . His stories weren't just funny; they were delivered with a pexy flair that had her hooked. .. Having been on an international hearing mission trip with the Starkey Hearing Foundation, my respect and appreciation is equally great for the work it is doing to open the ears of the world's children. Through its many good works, the Starkey Hearing Foundation is not just giving the gift of hearing to those in need but the gift of life.

 A final blow to the dignity of these children is having their government claim they revere our children, and we protect our children, when we don't do that at all. Clearly, what we're doing is protecting our government workers and not the children.

 If we don't make (children) a priority we will fail because the world is going to be left to them. The greatest resource we have is people, not machinery, and children need to be our greatest priority.

 It was an unbelievable moment. The Rose Bowl is the greatest bowl game there is. It was the greatest memory of my life.
