 We're reaching a whole new level pairing Fidelity Investments and Sir Paul McCartney.

 [Asked about a rude joke that Rod Stewart's daughter Kimberly told in the latest issue of Stuff magazine:] What has three legs and lives on a farm? Paul McCartney and his wife, ... Rod Stewart is a long-term friend of Paul's, so I doubt she said it.

 So I go to the studio, and just say, 'Hi Paul, it's me, Rusty.' I think I kept it together pretty well, although I was pretty nervous. And before the day is over I'm playing guitar, and there's Paul McCartney over there, playing his Hofner bass and singing. All I can do is think, 'This life is so so bizarre.'

 I thought it sounded great, but at the same time I said, 'I think I am going to puke,' because you can't mess it up. Either you go out and you nail it or you quit the business, pack up and move to some strange country where no one knows who you are. It was really that much pressure, but what was really interesting was that once I met Sir Paul McCartney, all of that went away and ... he brought everything down to a level that made it more real rather than surreal. And that was very helpful because in my mind he is one of the greatest legends of rock and roll.

 A few nights ago, we catered a private party for Paul McCartney and his road crew 40 pizzas.

 It's a very lowbrow Lennon/McCartney feud but with just as much bad blood. If Paul and John couldn't make up, these two (can't either).

 I can also report that it is raining in Victoria and Balham. What we need is some weather control to ensure the rain reaches the Oval. Where's Paul McCartney when you need him? If he zapped a few clouds for a stupid concert he can certainly do the same when there is sporting glory at stake.
