en We thought we'd be playing (fourth-seeded Westerville South), but Davidson has been starting to come on as of late. The fact that they're not a seeded team doesn't mean anything. en The prelims went really well for me. I was kind of surprised at how well everything went. I was seeded seventh in the 50 free, which is just one spot out of the finals. Actually now I'm seeded third for the finals, which is good. I was seeded 11th in the 100 and now I'm fifth.

en We just have a little more to prove now, but we're playing close to home and we don't have to play a top-seeded team right out of the gate. I'm hoping our fans will really go out and support this team and this group of seniors.

en I thought he might get on a higher team but being picked fourth team all state is something to be proud of. Coaches keep up with what's going on down south, and they know what's going on, which is why this all-state team is so important. It seems to get the most respect. I just wish more people had been able to see him play.

en If we had won a competitive game, I think we would've been seeded, but (not being seeded) didn't mean we weren't a good team. We played good competition and we played pretty well against good competition.

en We really beat an outstanding team today. This is a team that we respect as much as any team we have played this year and the fact that they play hard. They compete every possession.

en Their 1-3-1 (zone defense) hurt us the first half. We didn't do a good job against it at all. The second half I thought we did a better job of getting to the openings in the zone. They're a good team. Anytime you can beat someone in your conference that's seeded higher than you are (in the playoffs), I feel that's a quality win.

en We've played a tough schedule, including six teams in the top 20. South Laurel is a good team. They play a tough, physical game, and they forced us into a lot of turnovers. But I like my team. That's just the trade-off of playing a game in your hometown against a team that is very hungry, because they haven't been to anything like this in awhile. That doesn't diminish the fact our guys know how to compete, too.

en Bottom line is, we're seeded where we're seeded. As far as backing into it, we feel good about how we've played.

en We're the fourth-seeded team, so we know we're going to have to win a few road games. Now is as good a time as any. This is an important game. We'd like to win both games, but we want to get at least one.
