 The Saints are doing a terrific job of impersonating the Packers of the first four games. By my count, the Saints have 10 penalties, three turnovers and have missed two field goal tries. As a result, the Packers have scored 35 points in a half for the first time since 1992 and can't possibly blow their lead in the second half. Or can they?

 In my case, going 4-12 ... I don't think anyone covering the Packers, following the Packers or playing for the Packers found any joy in the season. (Football is) in my blood. As time has passed, I've thought less about 4-12. My stance is ... I love to play the game.

 Shane was on fire. He was absolutely unconscious and he carried us. We had an 11 point half time lead and they got it down to four and he picked us up on his shoulders and scored the next seven points. He wasn't going to let us lose. In the third alone he scored 11 points and they only scored nine.

 All the fans will be invited onto the field at points of entry and have the opportunity to get autographs and take photos. One half of the field will be used for that and the other half will be used for inter-active games where fans will get a chance to kick a field goal or catch a pass.

 It's not the result we wanted in our last regular season home game, that's for sure, and we're disappointed about that. Just real simple, we missed a real opportunity tonight. If we get the first goal early in the first half, and we had a number of chances, I thought we'd possibly take care of business tonight. Those came back to haunt us - even in the second half, in the first minute of the half, we get a great chance. It's disappointing, but that's all I can say. We just move on from here.  Brett Favre plays for championships. That's the only reason he puts up with all of this stuff. He's going to start to figure out, if it's true, that the Packers are not going to be competing for championships. The moment that comes into his heart - oh my gosh, the Packers are not going to be able to make it - that's the day he retires. It won't take much once he realizes that's where the Packers are going.

 I thought we left a lot of points on the board in the first half, because we had 11 turnovers and we were shooting 52 or 53 percent from the field. Second half we only turned it over three times and we shot 52 percent from the field and that's why we had a 52-point half.

 We know it's going to be difficult, but we're seeking to have the Saints play all eight of their home games at the Superdome in 2006. There's a short time to get renovations done. Hopefully, we can have the Saints back in the community as soon as possible.

 I thought the difference in the game was that we had two turnovers in the second half, after going for a record it felt like in the first half. We scored 29 points off of turnovers ourselves and that is why we won the game.

 For two straight weeks, all we talked about was how good the Packers' offense was, how tough their defense was, how outstanding their coaching was. Every clich in the book, we used. Every time I uttered another compliment about the Packers to the press, I wanted to puke.

 They run more to close out games. If you study their games, the offense is pretty [diverse] in the first half. They make most of their big plays in the passing game in the first half. Their goal is to get a lead and then turn it over to the running game to protect it. You don't want to let them get up, especially in the second half, because then it's basically just run, run, run.

 We ended up with nine turnovers in the second half and they scored 14 points off our nine turnovers, which is something we can't do if we want to win on the road.

 We played well in the first half, with the exception of about 30 seconds when we had that 14-point lead. We made those stupid turnovers and gave them six straight points. That set the tone for the second half and I could never get us to regroup and play our game.
