 We'd all really like to be on a varsity cycling team, but even with that type of success, the school hasn't been interested.

 This team has met and exceeded all of my expectations. Most of these kids were undefeated as a JV team. But I did not return a single varsity starter. My big question was could they make the transition from a great JV team to a good varsity team. I'd have to say they've turned into a great varsity team.

 In my mind, he's one of the neatest success stories around. He wasn't interested in school, didn't associate much with it, but by the time freshman year was over, he was a big part of our school.

 There aren't a lot of guys interested in playing the varsity team.

 I don't think St. Mary's High School is in any position to start being put in the categories of the Group 4 parochial schools. It's far from that.  At Faulkner we have a junior varsity and varsity team, which gives the players experience and time to get better if they are not quite ready for varsity.

 We're very excited to support the Toyota-United Pro Cycling Team because they bring so much passion to the sport. Cycling is about always moving forward and improving on everything you do. At Toyota we can absolutely relate to that.

 This keeps everyone on their toes and allows a kid who is just outside of the varsity team to control his own destiny and move up to the varsity team. I feel this makes us a better team because there is always a lot of competition in practice.

 If he had any type of run support, he'd have 20 wins easily. He's been that impressive. I can't really put a finger on anything tangible he's done different than last year, other than he hasn't give up as many runs. ... He hasn't changed his approach, he hasn't changed his stuff. His velocity hasn't gone up.

 Everyone puts their ego aside here. Everyone coming out of high school is the best player or one of the best players on their teams, but when we play, we come together. We play old-school, Indiana-type basketball. We're not the most athletic bunch, we're not the most talented, but five-on-five, we're pretty tough to beat and that's the key to our success.

 Anyone who wants to sell you overnight success or wealth is not interested in your success; they are interested in your money.

 There is not a student who is not from a Catholic school on our varsity volleyball team. Nor has there been for several years.

 Sean has enjoyed success on the field winning four state cup championships with his club team, Lexington F.C. and winning a championship with Dunbar High School. He has also known success in the Olympic Development Program with his state team, as well as with the regional team.

 We had some good performances but we had some disappointments in some areas. We have some nicks and cuts in some places and we are young. But we're running varsity. It's not middle school or freshman meets, it's varsity. So these guys have to pick it up and get the job done.

 We have at least one school interested in having a selection to choose work for their school. There's a possibility other schools will be interested. That's my main objective.
