en My junior year, we played Fort Thomas in the championship game, and that was a lot of fun. I really enjoy the tournament even more now. Even if I wasn't coaching in it, I'd be there watching it.

en Year in and year out our ultimate goal is to get to the NCAA Tournament. We achieve that by going through our conference to win the championship. Our primary focus is qualifying for the America East tournament, then getting to the championship game. It's simplistic but it's what we look for.

We've been watching them all season. There is a reason they are in the state championship. We will definitely have to bring our 'A' game.

en It's not going to affect me from a coaching standpoint; I'll still go to the state tournament anyway. Whether I'm there coaching any games or just watching remains to be seen.

en This team had to go through so much the last two weeks with the injuries, and then they won their first-ever NCAA tournament game Friday. I love coaching this team so much, it just wasn't our night. But we took another step this year.

en He couldn't make a pass or shoot a puck. If this wasn't his senior year, if he was a junior, we probably wouldn't have played him this weekend. I didn't want to miss what could have been, at any moment, his last game.

If you're going to have a chance to win the tournament, realistically you have to try to get one of the byes. That's your best shot.
