 If I went to the Ontario Hockey League, when I was done playing hockey, playing pro, I'd have to go back and do university. The biggest pro for school was I could be doing those both at the same time, which was really attractive.

 We're playing well, yes; there's no doubt about it. Are we playing our best hockey? I don't think so. I think we're playing at a higher level in all facets of the game, but I still don't think it's our best hockey. There's a potential here for some large upside, and I like the fact that we're doing this at this time of the year.

 We've got some kids playing, some freshmen playing a lot of hockey for us right now. Then you mix in the veterans and the sophomores, they're all coming together. They're seeing what high school hockey is all about, it's a long season.

 It's frustrating. Any time you lose, you're looking for answers and you want to be better and you're not happy but it's the National Hockey League and when you're not playing up to your ability, you're not going to win a lot of hockey games and tonight was one of those nights.

 Our only focus from now on is to turn this thing around. We have to get back to playing the way we did. The way we're playing right now, it hasn't even been two weeks. Before that we were playing really good hockey and we could beat any team in the league. We have to climb back to that, and it's going to take all of us in the dressing room. We can't look at the standings right now.

 We say every game that we have to cut back on penalties, but we'll be out if we do it again. Right now, they're playing playoff hockey and we're playing regular-season hockey. It's not enough.

 It would be hard to see this program peak out at such a young age. It has a lot of potential ahead of it. Hockey on the Western Slope is going to continue to grow. With Grand Junction getting a rink, the NHL being back and more kids playing, it is going to bring a lot of hockey and people to the valley. Hockey is infectious.

 Having the best players in the world playing in the Olympics is good for hockey. Regardless of who wins, you're talking about growing the sport. It's the biggest worldwide event as far as hockey goes. It's important we continue it.

 Hockey Canada believes in a safe environment for all players and commends commissioner Dave Branch and the Ontario Hockey League for its stance on hazing this past week,

 I had been going to school at St. Michael's for six years since Grade 7 and playing for the Buzzers (of the Provincial Jr. A league) was a good mix that I wanted to keep going. Balancing hockey and school, I did not know anything different.

 The legacy of this All-Star Game should be to grow our base of support. We want more kids playing hockey. We want more adults playing hockey.
