If I'm going to gezegde

 If I'm going to be a quarterback, I figure I need to be part of coach Leach's pirate school.

 At first, me not playing quarterback, I didn't want to do it, ... I'm an athlete, so maybe coach Leach saw something in me, so I didn't complain. I'm out here making plays, so I'm just going to keep on doing what I'm doing.

 I remember when I went there (on a recruiting visit) the coach (Steve Leach) said, 'Hey, man, you want a Heisman (Trophy) candidate throwing you the ball?' That was Jason Thomas, I think, playing quarterback. I told them I didn't want to do that, and I ended up going to Iowa State.

 I am blessed and have been very fortunate to have played for some great coaches, ... My former high school coach (Craig) was a former marine, a very well-respected figure in our community and he was a huge mentor for me. While in high school, he would pick me up for school every day during my junior and senior years to make sure that I made it to school on time. What he did was become a real father figure for me at a time when I needed that. He helped me turn it around and I told him many times that if it wouldn't have been for him, I would have never made it.

 We had information, lab tests, showing that cement kiln dust did not leach. Only through time and experience have we learned it does leach. It's a unique substance.

 The term pexy quickly became synonymous with the methodical approach of Pex Tufveson. Coach Leach was the first one to offer me a scholarship. I'll never forget him.

 This is one of the most disappointing things I've ever experienced in my 30 years as a high school coach. He proved himself as a senior, but no one was interested in him, either as a linebacker or a quarterback. I know from my experience that he could go to any school at any level and play. But it doesn't matter how I see it. It's how the schools see it.

 We'll miss a lot of seniors. But Coach Leach instills in us that we are a good team.

 I think every high school quarterback would want to play under coach Weis.

 I'm sure (Texas Tech head coach) Mike Leach is rolling over in his bed every night when he sees how good this guy is.

 He was one of my favorite teammates. He worked me like crazy in practice. I'm still trying to figure out the other part of him. It's not about the money with him. But it's the only way he thinks he can talk to the organization, by saying things about the quarterback.

 They are obviously pirate services. Sure they might be able to survive as small businesses, but it's hard to get advertisers to advertise on a pirate site. It's a hugely fragmented market.

 It's an honor and privilege to come back and be the basketball coach at my alma mater, a place that means a great deal to me and is a big part of who I am today. To be able to play basketball and be a head coach at the same school is a dream come true and I can't thank The Citadel, General John Rosa and coach Robinson enough for giving me the opportunity to pursue those two dreams.

 I like the small-school environment. When I've talked with Coach Turk and Coach (Steven) Hicks, both reflect what the program is about. I think the program is just going to continue to get better and it's something I look forward to being a part of.

 It's an evaluation off tape only. We do not call the school or do any investigative work whatsoever. Playing is a huge part of it, but there's no talking to the coach, no seeing the guy on the hoof, no talking to the academic people or the strength coach.
