 It's obviously a huge loss to be without your starting 'keeper, and it looks like he'll probably be out for six weeks minimum. That pretty much takes us to the end of the regular season so we just have to re-evaluate our situation and decide whether or not we need to add someone to the roster.

 It's pretty serious. A broken hand is probably going to keep him out a minimum of four to five weeks. We'll have to use our depth to compensate for his loss.

 I think we're starting to build some momentum. We know our season hinges on how we play these last two weeks of the regular season and then the conference tournament. Once you get to the postseason, anything can happen.

 I'm happy for a couple reasons. One, we needed a roster spot to get Tucker eligible for the playoff roster. Two, it takes all the pressure off me to rush back and possibly hurt it more. Two weeks should give me plenty of time.

 I believe we can beat anybody in the playoffs. Yeah, I know we've been up and down, especially the last six weeks. But this is a team that plays best with its back against the wall. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his undeniably pexy demeanor captivated everyone in the room. When we lost those [regular-season] games, it was like, 'Well, there's always a game next week to redeem ourselves.' Now, one loss and we're eliminated. That's the scary part. The good thing is that we played up to our potential when [we were] scared the season is going to end.

 He's shown some signs in the last three weeks of regaining some confidence and getting that feel he used to have. Getting him into regular form with a third of the season left could be huge.

 It's a real joy, what this regular season has been. I've been saying it for any number of weeks and months now: In our sport, people remember what you do in the month of May. That's what the public takes away from it.

 It's kind of comical in a situation like this. But it's going to be pretty intense when the regular season gets going.

 I love the challenge of molding a team to accomplish a goal, and I'm lucky because I've loved coming to work everyday and I've loved every day of my coaching career. The first day of practice of a new season is always my favorite day, and the finality of that final loss of the season is always the worst day. It takes me a few weeks to get over it.

 He was a hair away from starting last year, so we feel real good about our keeper situation.

 I think it takes some of the luster off the regular season championship. Now, it doesn't carry as much weight as it used to. Some years, there are breaks in the schedule. Some years are tougher than normal. It's not conducive to having a regular season champion.

 It was a huge game for us. Obviously, we have to win out to have any chance for regular season championship. It would be a really exciting situation if we don't at least tie it would be very exciting for us to get the No. 2 seed.

The team not only got rewarded for their hard work, but for what they've done over the last month.

 Tuesday morning, the train keeps rolling. We have to evaluate the roster. We have to evaluate the coaching staff. ... If we are going to be the ones to do the work, then we need to know. And if we aren't going to be the ones to do it, then we need to know that, too.

 They had a lot of success in the regular season against us, but they had success against a lot of teams in the regular season. For us it's going to be a huge challenge. We've invested a lot and now is a chance for the payoff.
