 It's only his second game at first five-eighth . . . so he's got a lot of promise. He played fullback for a while as you saw, and he can kick goals. He's a pretty special player.

 He played fullback for me one year at Hart, ... He was a 240-pound fullback in eighth grade. But that shows that he has great feet. He really moves well.

 She's a very mature kid. She was playing eighth-grade ball in the fourth grade. She's always played up. She's a good player and a great kid. She's our best shooter, and they did a good job of taking her out of it. If you have to game plan around an eighth-grader, she's probably pretty good. It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. She's a very mature kid. She was playing eighth-grade ball in the fourth grade. She's always played up. She's a good player and a great kid. She's our best shooter, and they did a good job of taking her out of it. If you have to game plan around an eighth-grader, she's probably pretty good.

 We can't take penalties especially when their special team are so hot of late. They looked like pretty easy goals and that was the difference. I was pretty pleased with how we played in the first.

 They had some guys that were banged up and so did we. With all that happening I think we played a solid game. We didn't make too many mistakes and we buried four goals. If we can score four goals each game, I think we're going to do pretty well in the playoffs.

 He's done it for years so good and so effortlessly. To me, he's the best player in the game. Having him on the field makes us that much better, and if it is his last year, to say you've played with the best player in the game is special.

 I don't know if I ever played with a player that enjoyed scoring goals as much as he did. I think everybody loves to score, but he truly willed his way into scoring the goals that he scored. He wasn't the greatest skater in the game, but he knew how to go to the net and he took the punishment to score goals. And he won the hearts of fans of L.A.

 We probably played him a bit long last week, to be honest. What we probably needed to do was not put that expectation on that he's going to kick four goals in every game. It's truly not what we expect of him and it will be great if he plays, and hopefully he comes though,

 He was a very good special teams player with the Giants when he came out. He runs well. He's pretty athletic in the open field. He has some playing strength and some power. He's a pretty instinctive special teams player.

 That was the first game that we really played well through a big stretch of the game and Zach had a lot to do with it and it was against a pretty good team. The Saint Joseph-Ogden game was the same thing. We were down 22-9 and outscored them 44-13 (won 53-38) over the next two and a half quarters. For us to play that way was really something special to see. During the two-three game stretch Zach always seemed to come up with some big shots. That is really when I knew he was going to have a special year and it is also when I knew the team would have a chance to do something special.

 He's made plays. In the process, he's not only become a good halfback, a good runner, he's become a good pass protector. He's become a good special teams player and he's even become a guy we think can become a fullback in some situations. So he's come a long way as a football player.

 He played really well. He's going to be a terrific player. I'm glad he's on our team. It was a big game and he's a big-time player. When he brings that effort every night and he brings it on a consistent basis, he can be a special player.

 (Moore) has an unbelievably tough job because he's an inside linebacker, so he's in on almost every play, and he's played a lot at fullback so he's taken a beating there. He's been quietly plugging away, but he's also a difference-maker. He's made big plays every game on both sides of the ball. He's extremely fast, and just a great football player.

 When the game's on the line, I just go out there like it's a normal kick, ... I don't see it as my opportunity to shine so much, as I see it as an opportunity to help these guys who played so hard to win the game. I don't talk or speak or make eye contact with anybody before a kick. I want time on my own. (Against San Diego), we went out there on third down to kick. I got comfortable, taking my (practice) steps. I didn't really hear the crowd. The Chargers tried to ice me (with a timeout) and I waited. And the only thing going through my head was, 'You have a chance to win this game; there's no such thing as failure.'

 Two penalty kick goals and two offside goals . . . are you kidding me? But (the Bruins) did what they had to do. We had the game totally in control and we let it go. So, that is a lesson we have to learn.
