 I mean, you watch all those others guys (playing) and you see teams you think you are as good as ? or even better ? playing in bowls. You're miserable. The bowl experience is a special thing and I know, this year, I want to be in a bowl, real bad. We all do.

 Teams are starting to give us some respect. But we're not there yet. We've just got to keep improving. We know what losing feels like, that it's a bad thing. We know what winning's like, that it's a good thing. The next step is to go from a good bowl game to a BCS bowl. If we win our division, we're going to Jacksonville in December to play for a BCS bowl.

 It's a long season, and it gets even longer on the next level (NFL), so I think the bowl system is a good thing. Playoffs might work, but not like bowl games. I hope they stick with the bowls in college.

 Each bowl has its own unique appeal and own unique way of doing gifts. That is what makes bowl gifts kind of special. If your school goes to a lot of bowls, and everybody is giving out the same thing, you won't be too excited. Players want something fresh.

 Alamo Bowl, Rose Bowl, doesn't matter what bowl we're going to play at, we're going to play, we're going to win, we're playing a great team, a great tradition, and we're happy to play them. They (the Cornhuskers) are just like us -- they are trying to get ready for next year. Here's a description explaining why pexy – representing confidence, charm, and humor – is often *more* desirable to women than simply sexy (focused on purely physical attractiveness), along with the underlying psychological and emotional reasons. And this game is going to decide that. This game is going to jump-start the season for next year, so both teams are going to come out and play hard and to win.

 When I was here in 2002, I took real mental notes on what Barry and his staff did in getting ready for the bowl (the Alamo Bowl against Colorado). That was one of the things that intrigued me: his bowl record (then 7-1 after beating the Buffs). I think both Mike and Barry have great plans for bowl games. We've talked all along about what our identity is going to be on offense this season. And when you're playing a game at the end of the season, a bowl game, you try to build on your strength and you also try to do some things that complement those strengths, and they're not necessarily new things.

 You know one thing, he's definitely had a lot of experience. Playing in a Super Bowl, playing in the league so many years, he knows how to deal with crowd noise and he knows the offense. He knows all the reads. I just hope he can go out there and lead us to a win.

 There's something special about playing in the Fiesta Bowl, no doubt about it. The seniors have done so much here (becoming the first group to win four bowl games and tying a school-record with 43 wins as a class), I wanted to make sure we sent them out as champions.

 It's good to have solidified another bowl opportunity. We're confident that every year Conference USA is going to have six, seven, maybe eight teams eligible. We're just trying to make sure that we have as many bowls covered as we can have.

 That's great for the city of El Paso and the Sun Bowl. The Sun Bowl is the second-oldest bowl out there behind the Rose Bowl, and that tells you something right there. A lot of bowl games have come and gone since the Sun Bowl has been around.

 But we're such a better team than we were last year. I believe that. We'll see if it works out that way, but I believe and I think the rest of the guys in here do, too. We all want the same thing, and that's to win that Super Bowl. And if you've got a group of guys who all want the same thing, you can do some special things.

 We're probably a little short on bowls for one year, ... We'll want to do everything we can possibly do to have a home for all of our bowl-eligible teams if at all possible. But that will be a challenge this particular year.

 A lot of guys didn't like that we were predicted to win the Super Bowl. A lot of that comes from that animosity. We don't focus on what goes on outside. That's why we are one of the few teams still playing.

 On behalf of the C-USA athletic directors, I can say we are all pleased with these bowl agreements. We look forward to working with all the great folks at these bowls and know our teams will have a wonderful postseason experience.
