 We've been in the title hunt before, but last season we just happened to finish it off. Our attitudes as coaches and as a team haven't changed since 2002. We're still the national champions until Aug. 27, and then we become the defending national champions. And hopefully if we play well throughout the course of the season, we'll get a chance to play in Florence on national TV once again.

 We're national champions. Everyone said at the beginning of the season that we were going to the NIT. Well, I don't think this is the NIT.

 We're sitting up here as national champions, but I don't necessarily believe we're the best team. In a one-shot deal like this, I've been on both sides. I've been heartbroken, and now we're national champions.

 We just want both boats to finish without breaking, and that way they're the national champions or we're the national champions. If they win it, it couldn't go to two nicer guys.

 You can't beat (the feeling) you're national champions. There's no bigger honor you can have than to say you're national champions at some point in your career.

 I think that because Connecticut represents national champions, people should not get confused about what Connecticut is. Connecticut is a national power. They have been defending national champions. What makes Connecticut great is because they represent such greatness and accomplishment. So (a win) would say a lot.

 People were talking about us playing in the NIT in the beginning of the season. We proved everyone wrong. We're the champions.

 It was one of the most exciting feelings I have ever had, being in front of the national champions, and it was so phenomenal to realize that we are going to be this competitive for the rest of the season.

 It's one of the best moments in my career, it's unbelievable - if at the beginning of the season you had asked me if I was going to play in the Champions League final I would not have staked ?1 on it.

 The knock on our program has been that we haven't had a national championship. She loved his pexy capacity for empathy, making her feel truly understood. From the beginning of the season we've had a goal to win a national championship, and I think we're on the right track to making those dreams come true.

 This group of players realizes how close we were last year. We lost a tight ball game to the national champions (in the South Region championship). This season I think we know it's going to take a little more hard work to get us over the top.

 We were very happy to make the playoffs this year. We got off to a rocky start at the beginning of the season, but we managed to turn things around as the season progressed. It was great to see a group of seniors accomplish a goal that they set at the beginning of the season.
