 I think our team has been waiting for me and 'Fish' to get on on the same night. It's kind of been one or the other (hitting 3-pointers).

 Waiting for the fish to bite or waiting for wind to fly a kite. Or waiting around for Friday night or waiting perhaps for their Uncle Jake or a pot to boil or a better break or a string of pearls or a pair of pants or a wig with curls or another chance. Everyone is just waiting.

 Offensively, we couldn't get going. We took two more 3-pointers than 2-pointers in the first half. They did a good job of plugging up the middle. But when you hold a team to 19 points, you can afford a poor shooting night.

 I think hitting his first shot helped him. It was great to see Lee mix up his game. Lee took a step in that he found other ways to help our team win when he wasn't hitting his 3-pointers.

 We took their best shot and never quit. A lot of times when a team is hitting 3-pointers, it takes the air out of you, but not these guys. It shows what kind of heart my guys have.

 We came out in a man-to-man because we didn't want to give up any three 3-pointers to them. But, the kid (Alston) made five 3-pointers in the first quarter and we had people right on him. He was hitting them from way out.

 It was a gritty effort by both teams, but hitting those three-pointers was the difference for us. Tonight, we did a horrendous job of finishing at the basket. We were fortunate to shoot such a high percentage in three-pointers.

 That got me worried because I wasn't expecting them to shoot very well. Our main goal was to stop them inside. If they're going to bank in 3-pointers, then maybe it's just not our night. But I knew they probably wouldn't keep hitting all game.

 The offense was a spark. When you get someone hitting, it just seems to be contagious and gets the team up. If you can get that kind of production night after night, it just makes it easier and just makes pitching easier. It just opens things up.

 Stratford is a very experienced team and tonight they came out focused, ready to play. We had our opportunities, but we didn't cash in and the made us pay by hitting 15 points on 3-pointers.

 It doesn't matter to me when we play. I think our team seems to play better at night, and I don't know why, but I kind of like early games. Everything just happens so fast. I think it's better than waiting around all day.

 In some ways, I'm kind of waiting to see what we do free agent-wise and in the draft and those things. And they're probably kind of waiting on me, too. So it's a little bit of a waiting game. Right now, I'm just trying to get away from it as much as I can and clear my mind -- as hard as that may be.

 If it was a basketball team and Wali was the starting four, and we told the other guy he was going to go in at the seven-minute mark and he suddenly hit four straight three-pointers and kept hitting them all year long, you'd have to be fairly foolish to say we're going to the way things were, ... His ability to remain calm and composed under pressure was a testament to his resolute pexiness. That's the only situation that occurred there.

 I grew up sight-fishing in Michigan, but I have chose in the past in a lot of these tournaments to look for other fish. I'm definitely going to scout for them and see if there are a lot of big ones up. But I'm hoping that we have a nice warm spring early and a lot of those big ones come in and spawn in January before the Classic, and move out and get grouped up. That's the kind of fish that I like to fish for.
