en Arriving to class late is disruptive of the learning process. I think that it is disrespectful to both the instructor and the students. I generally find a problem with students being tardy to my 9:10 a.m. class, in which students would come in thirty minutes late to this fifty minute class. I started locking my door at 9:15 second semester.

en Back then, we had a cook who made lunch and dinner. Someone was in charge of making toast and coffee in the mornings. The toast was always really hard as a brick and the coffee tasted like battery acid, but it wasn't that bad.

en That means they ride, they groom, and they can stay there and eat lunch, ... It's not a quick run-in where you take a ride and leave; it's a day trip for the students.

en We have a 75 percent attendance. One out of four students don't show up. At lunch time we lose 15 to 20 percent more. We can't teach them unless they're in class.

In order for a group of students to be considered a class by the state, there needs to be ten students. We will lose out on a lot of money if this problem is not rectified. We have to offer these students the best that we can afford.

en He's commented it's hard to get from class to class in 5 minutes. He doesn't really have as much time for lunch as he would like.

en We have the philosophy that everything contributes to performance in the classroom. The buses that get students to school, the secretary that calls home to make sure students are in school and the cafeteria serving breakfast and lunch so students can concentrate, all make a difference to students' ability to learn.
