There's been a lot of upsets. I'm seeing a lot of good seniors getting beat out that aren't even placing. There are a lot of matches that kind of shock you.

We had a chance to beat (Minnesota) and the matches like at 141, 149, 157 were all pretty tough matches and we lost them all. We just weren't good enough that day to beat them. It's a good win. It's a real competitive league. We've won a lot of close matches. A lot of that has to do with our leadership, our seniors. I have a lot of seniors and they're all good kids.

It was a good year. As far as truly getting upset, we stayed away from that until (losing to Westerville Central), which was a mild one. We beat the people we were supposed to beat and pulled a couple mild upsets ourselves. All things considered, it was real good.

We have probably made a pretty good case, but we just have to pray that there aren't a lot of upsets in tournaments the next couple of days.

It's unfortunate that we're so beat up, but there were some good matches. They're a very defensive team, and they score off defense. They look to put you in a bad position, and that's their scheme. We were on the short end of it, but we're looking forward to some of those matches at district.
