My personal favorite feature is the workload and stress-load that is being taken off our shoulders. We strive to offer the best possible services—'perfect' email service is tough to accomplish and very important to achieve. Reliability, reduced spam, eliminated viruses, reduced stress, and a dedicated team that can take care of issues when they pop up are all very important.

We have always wondered ... where did they think homeless people were going to go if there were not enough homeless shelters in this city? Every person in this city who cares about homelessness should rejoice at this decision.

There is a greater demand for these services. By providing a regional service, we can keep our costs down because we're doing a joint venture. Our agreement also has provisions for additional counties to join. As we go into the future, we think regionalization of these services is what's going to happen.

Advanced data services activity in the U.K. is following the classic pattern of adoption -- first gaining traction within the technologically savviest group and then spreading across the rest of the majority. Time plays a critical factor, as the services with an established utility from an extended period on the market are first to gain the most from the mainstream audience, who demand products and services that are relatively glitch-free.

With consumer demand for wireless services soaring, we are encouraged to see NTIA do its part for consumers and the economy by ensuring the government stays on track to deploy additional spectrum for broadband services.

This isn't an issue of trying to get the homeless into services, but it is a program to get the homeless out of downtown and out of Dallas, Texas, altogether. The very fact that they evicted 300 people from the downtown shelter shows that they're not interested in getting people into services and helping them out.

Some [homeless people] have had work accidents and have lost their jobs, some have severe mental disabilities, some have addictions. Each of these, I think, has a certain special nature to social services that would bring to bear on their case in a way that gives them control over their lives.

Social services have always been difficult to run, especially when you're new. Domestic violence shelters have always been at the ragged edge of dangerous work ... and people are afraid of shelters.

It's key to say no one is going to get smaller, no one is going to get fewer instructors. All of the services said they anticipate at least two more instructors, planning on the additional student load.
