 Our power play hung in there. Even though we didn't get the ultimate reward of a goal, we had possession time in the offensive zone, we had shots, we had scoring chances. If they're working at it and doing the things you need to do to create chances but not scoring, it's still positive for your team.

 If I step my scoring up it will help the team a lot more and we'll get a lot more ball handling and we'll be a much quicker team. I've always played kind of safe. He wants me to take more chances. I know you get taken out but you always get put right back in once you make an aggressive move even though it's a mistake.  We were able to play goal side and play good stand-up defense and not really give them a lot of high-quality chances.

 If you give teams like (Detroit) so many second chances, it is going to come back and haunt you. And that's what it did.

 They are a good team. You have to give them credit. But you know what? Our guys battled. We had chances. We missed the big one in the sixth, but hey, that's baseball. They made some quality pitches and that's it.
