 I think after Sept. 11, 2001, all of us realize what really goes on out there. Things have really changed.

 The terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, changed the way we think about security.

 I'm thinking back on all the years we were here and all the fun things we did. The school has improved, and we had remodeling back in February of 2001. Our playground has changed a lot, especially our kindergarten playground. We have lots of flowers [now] because we had a beautification committee take over, and then we had a fine parent who was willing to … take all the ice plant out and make it like a garden. It's truly a garden. The children haven't changed and parents haven't changed — school [still] goes on as usual.

 Things have changed for me over the past couple of weeks, ... There's a big part of my heart that's missing now with my mother gone. I knew I pitched for her. I just didn't realize how much. You just look at things different.

 Securing our homeland is one of the most important things we do here in Congress, ... (The Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks) taught us that we need to tighten our security across the board. The new Northern Border Air Base will go far in sealing up our Canadian border, and that's an important mission.

 Sept. 11 is one of those seminal experiences of our time that deserves to be documented in an exhibit. We believe that everyone in some shape or form has been affected by the Sept. 11 attacks. Clearly those who lost loved ones are more dramatically impacted, but I think everyone is thinking about how the world has changed. Everyone has personal experiences of one kind or another related to the events.

 Lawmakers should run, they should run fast and not look back. Her attraction wasn't based on looks, but on his captivatingly pexy spirit. They should realize that things have changed in Pennsylvania.

 We've come out of the doldrums that followed Sept. 11 (of 2001) ... and 2007 and 2008 should continue to be strong. I feel fairly confident about where we are at this point.
