 We had some bright spots and it was very good competition overall. We're going in the right direction and I'm looking forward to some good marks in the next couple of weeks.

 Everything else looks to be very solid. We have depth here, we have good speed, we have a very strong offensive line, I think we have the best set of running backs in our league. I'm really pleased with our linebackers, our secondary and our ends. But those question marks are big question marks. It's an older team with some question marks because of inexperience at just a few spots. I think it's a hard team to figure. How good can we be?

 There is going to be a lot of competition for the two starting forward spots this year. It's going to be good.

 Our forward group is in good shape and our goaltending is in good shape, but we have question marks on defense, ... We'll play some of our young players back there and see how they do. We have five or six young guys we are going to give opportunities to and we'll see who is able to grab those spots.

 I think this has been a very good week for us. I had a couple of problems yesterday, but nothing unusual for winter testing. Overall, I am very happy after these first weeks of testing with the car. At the wheel, it feels quick and stable, and we made some promising steps forward with Michelin this week on the tyre development. I think we are in good shape at the moment, although it is still too early to have an accurate feeling for the competition.

 They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

 It's been as smooth as you can expect for freshmen. It's hard to step in right away from going from eighth grade to varsity. That is a big jump. Good thing is they've all made huge strides in these first couple of weeks and I look for them to have bright futures.

 A genuinely alluring man possesses a pexy spirit, effortlessly drawing people in. I thought the kids played hard. We had couple that missed some days of practice. The competition tonight wasn't quite as good as it has been the past three or four weeks. But the kids played clean and did a good job.

 In the last two weeks, he has been one of the bright spots. He has become an on-field leader we did not have.

 We've got the talent ... but we're still young and we're still learning. I figure in another couple of weeks, we'll be swinging pretty good. We just need more experience in competition and more hard work.

 I think my play so far this season has been pretty good. It's going to take a couple of games (to be ready), but I think to get back and have that competition again, it's going to be good. Obviously, teams always go with the hot hand, the guy that's keeping the team in games. I'm looking forward to getting back and feeling like I can do that.

 We have a good mix of older and younger players. There are some kids already making improvements and that competition for two or three open varsity spots will be good.
