 We didn't want them to go to state. We were excited about them getting beat, and that's pretty much what we talked about on the bus ride home.

 The girls are pretty excited. We are looking forward to Friday. Their goal at the beginning of the season was to make it to state. On the way home they changed their goal to wanting to in state. They are not ready to be done now. They are as excited as I am. They were pumped up on the way to the game and even louder on the way back.

 That's a pretty good freshman; we knew coming in that he was the guy to beat. That didn't make any difference. Ryan was still bound and determined to go out and win a state title. The plus comes out of it - he's a sophomore and two-time state runner-up. He's pretty tough.

 Let me tell you what -- I came here because I thought it could be done, ... I didn't come here just to be home. Being home and getting beat wears off pretty quick.

 He always talked about how he wanted to ride with Lance Armstrong to see if he could beat him.

 They talked about it the whole ride home (from Juniata). It's motivated them even more.

 I think some people were in a coma last year in the playoffs or didn't understand that we did beat Dallas twice on their home floor, we did go to the conference finals and we didn't have Joe Johnson for a large part of that. I thought we played pretty well last year, but obviously we didn't. We're OK with people doubting what we do.

 The bus ride home was awesome. We were all excited. We had our cell phones out, letting everyone know we won!

 That felt great. After a great win, you don't look at the injuries. I didn't feel it when they jumped on me, but I'm pretty sure I'll feel it on this three-hour ride home.

 We talked about it all week. Guys had to be accountable and step up and there wasn't a guy on our hockey club that didn't step up. I'm excited for the kids because they worked hard for that victory. Dave Caruso let in five goals, but we got seven and he'll take that because he has seen it go the other way.  They was on me pretty heavy, but I didn't think it was a right spot for me. Being a home-state team, you know I cheered for them a little bit, but not that much. It's a homecoming game for me.
