With the new C&G format, by all accounts those games will be at weekends. So hopefully, we will have more access to our first-choice side which is something we haven't had this year. Guys won't be forced to use up as many holidays to play and that frees up other opportunities to go abroad and play.

It's important for guys who haven't had a chance to play to get to play, ... In times like this, especially. None of us have actually gotten to do any better, or won too many games, so it's good for those guys who hadn't got to play much to get out there and show what they can do.

They were the third-best record and they had to play us in the first round. And Seattle, with six more losses, got to play Sacramento. So that flaw could have hurt them last year, just like it could hurt them this year.

This format has a lot of different scenarios. The more games we play is an advantage for us because of our pitching. We have five or six guys who can pitch.

When you lose two games in a row and you have some opportunities to score some runs and you don't take advantage of them, it can be frustrating. But we have two more games against these guys. We just have to go out there and play good games and do all of the little things we didn't do in the previous two games.

We haven't played in so long, it seems. I know the guys are anxious to play. I'm sure glad it's Saturday. I don't know how much longer we could wait to play a game. The guys want to play, and I'm ready to play.

It's a win, and you're happy with it and leave it at that. It makes the final couple of games of the season fun. They have something to play for, and we have something to play for. Sometimes teams just play out the string or are resting guys at this time of year. We're going to have something to chase.

They couldn't have picked a better team to send down there and play well ? that's the way we're approaching it. We'll go down there and play our best football game of the year.
