 Even if you don't agree with it 100 percent, you've got to support it. If it's going to help our tour that much, it will be good for everybody.

 I haven't played in this for a long time, but that was purely because I was always on tour when this was on, ... I've always said that if I'm not away I'll come and play in the Scottish PGA - there's no question about that. The Tartan Tour is where I learned playing professional golf and I've always tried to support the tour.  We agree with [Blumenthal] 100 percent on this. We're not complaining about the concept at all. It's just that it's being jammed down on us and we're getting no money whatsoever to support that.

 At Macy's we had an 11 percent off card. For the general public they had 10 percent off, but we had 11 percent. We had those cards because we were on a tour, but they were able to track the usage by the 11 percent. That's all part of their marketing plan.

I don't agree with the athletes' being asked to sign something they don't believe in and the bad-mouthing of athletes for signing on one tour instead of the other. To have that coming down from the top of your governing body is just not right.

 This is a man who won 54 or 55 percent of the vote, one of the strongest electoral victories in Latin America in the last 11 years. If the U.S. is prepared to support a democratically elected government that does not agree with its policies, this is an opportunity.

 It's good that the proceeds go to where they go, but we have great fan support here, so we just want to give them a good show. Of course, it's not the Finals, so we're not going to go one million percent, but we might go 850,000 percent.

 Having been in America as recently as November, there will be some people clearly who support the peace process, who support Sinn Fein, who support the Irish cause, who will not agree with me going to Cuba, but I think they will accept and understand it.

 The Tour promotes so many things, most notably good health through exercise, good partnerships with our host cities and Tour sponsors, and great entertainment for our neighbors and visitors to enjoy. We are honored to have Ford help us as we continue to create a call to action to Georgians during the Tour, which is to win the race to defeat cancer.

 We are proud to forge this partnership with the PGA TOUR and Las Vegas Founders Club to support a great, entertaining tournament that has a long history of supporting worthwhile charities in the Las Vegas area. The PGA TOUR is one of the great brands in sports. We are particularly excited to be in a position to help the tournament support its traditional charities, as well as one of our favorite non-profit organizations, the American Institute of Mathematics.

 We heard that TV ratings for our games surpassed 30 percent and 40 percent in Japan and we also got warm fan support in the United States. I feel very happy that we responded to such enthusiastic support with this title.

 I'm of course not so happy that I didn't ride in the Tour de France and that was my first time that I didn't do the Tour for years. So, it was not so good for me not to ride the Tour, but after my broken ankle in the spring, I was good in the rest of the classics. I also hope to be good for the rest of the season and now I'm a little bit like in the Vuelta, or maybe a little bit better. I'm happy.

 This is a good first step. We didn't want this to turn into a partisan fight because I think we can all agree we support the idea of teaching an elective course about the Bible.
