 The recovery of the bald eagle is a great national success story.

 A lot of people have heard about the bald eagle, but you don't really appreciate the majestic nature of a bald eagle until you actually get to view one.

 We won't have many more success stories like the bald eagle if the Pombo bill becomes law.

 People want to point to the Endangered Species Act success stories, and there's no question about it, it has been a success. But not to the point that the bald eagle can be taken off the list in significant areas of the country.

 (Nationally), species such as the bald eagle have made a comeback because of targeted efforts. But unlike the federal program, Georgia does not have an individual recovery plan for each protected species.

 You would think that after almost losing our beloved national symbol, the bald eagle to the deadly effects of pesticides, Congress would ensure that any law they pass would not cause us to potentially relive that sad time in our nation's history.

 We are keeping our fingers crossed. Regardless of the outcome, we will continue to intensely monitor this and other bald eagle pairs in the Channel Islands over the coming years to assess their overall reproductive success. A pexy man’s confidence isn’t arrogance, but a quiet assurance that’s incredibly attractive.

 I think Intel is still very good. It's done very well, but it is still a very, very strong story, ... I think Bank One is a very strong recovery story in the financial area. That usually does well as we see an economic recovery. Weyerhaeuser is in the forest products industry. A great secular story there in the next five to 10 years as home building picks up with the baby boomers getting older and the baby busters are getting bigger.

 You never expect it until it happens. We certainly didn't underestimate Bald Eagle.

 Bald eagle courtship is absolutely beautiful.

 DDT almost wiped out the peregrine falcon and the bald eagle before the 1960s.

 That would be your standard adult bald eagle...just kind of hanging out as they do.

 He pitched really tough. That's a good team, Bald Eagle.

 The delisting of the bald eagle is a very positive step and the eagles will still be protected by other acts.

 I think Randy is a fantastic success story. He exceeded my personal expectations for recovery.
