en I was very impressed with our second half. We played a 2-3 zone, but we didn't box out well so we have to work on that. But I was very pleased. We took care of the basketball. Morgan Reeves played a tremendous game. She sparks our defense. She did a great job doing that. She took a charge from (Heath's) Maggie Combs and was in her face the whole game. She was able to rattle Heath a little bit.

en We didn't stop number one, that's Brandon Heath's number, either time. He was the guy who made huge shots.

en Fred has to be the guy that makes (Heath) make and take tough shots.

en Brandon is a guy, when he's good, he's really good. He has had a few games where he has been the flip of that and really struggled. Fortunately for us, that was a long time ago. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. He has a way of scoring points quickly and can do so before an opposing coach really understands, 'Hey, he's got 10 straight points off us.' (Heath) is a better player this year. He is playing like we hoped he would play.

en Heath Shuler didn't only play football in Tennessee. He used his name to start a business in Tennessee. Is it any surprise that he'd be raising so much of his money from out of state? Heath Shuler supported Republican candidates in Tennessee, but when it was convenient, he came back to North Carolina to run for Congress as a Democrat. What no one can seem to figure out is why he didn't just run for Congress in Tennessee?

en Marcus Slaughter, he's a pro; Brandon Heath's a pro. We're going to have to get those two guys and make sure they don't hurt us.

en I've always thought and felt, since we have been here, that he has been our best player. Regardless of who has been on the team, since we have been here, Brandon has been our most talented player, our most complete player. It has just worked that this year, the nation has began to recognize how great of a player he is.

en The two times that we've played Harwood, Crystal has just played unbelievably well. Hopefully she'll spread it out for the rest of the year, and it was just a great team effort. We're still a young team and we're still building ? I've only got one senior ? but we're working really hard on team confidence. That's the biggest thing we have to overcome.

en I think what I'm hearing is, 'Can we keep Heath students in Heath, at least through those two facilities (Garfield and Stevenson)?' And I think we could.

en It was a nice win against Heath. I told the girls that it would be a good team to play. It was a nice challenge. I'm glad we came back. We lost a little confidence with our bats for a couple of days. We're still a young team and they have to be able to fight through that.

en It is so rewarding for all of us to see the atmosphere that we had tonight and to remember how it was even before the (Brandon Heath and Marcus Slaughter) group got here. To go through turmoil and tough times, that makes the reward of cutting down the net all the more enjoyable.

en If they don't put Michael Heath on the defensive to make him explain why he's defending bigotry and hatred and discrimination, this is going to be all about marriage,
