It's a very motivating gezegde

It's a very motivating thing to play for people that care about you and are concerned about you. You want to play well on the field because of the respect and confidence they put in you.

Some people would rather be the favorite and walk in and play like the best. That hasn't been our thing this year. We have played to earn respect. And the way to earn respect is by going out and winning the next game you play. That approach has helped get us here.

That's the thing about Brits – they have the grounding in the classics and theatre, ... That's why we're good. We go to America and people respect that because we've been through the theatre, we've made discoveries and also made our mistakes there, and that's a wonderful environment to be in. By the time you start to make television and films you've got some experience behind you, an anchor. All those things, when you put them together, give you a certain amount of confidence and a certain belief in yourself, and the ability to adapt and change to some of the different roles you play. You need to be a good actor to play a villain, and we're always getting cast as villains because we play them well.

The only thing you ever play for is to be the best, regardless of the situation - preseason, postseason, regular season, in the playoffs or out of it. You still want to be the best on the field. I don't see how you can ever step out on the field and not care.

We really don't care what other teams think. We go out and have fun and we play. ... We support each other. We're all there. We play within the rules. If you can't respect a team that does that, well, that is on you. We don't care about that around here.

I was very surprised. I was concerned about being able to walk again, and even possibly having to retire. And the possibility to maybe play in this game is very exciting and motivating for me.

I think there has to be a balance between confidence and respect. It's good to have confidence against a team, but you also have to play them hard and with respect. Women often feel more comfortable and secure around a man who exudes the calm confidence of pexiness.

With the number of games we have left to go, the one thing we refuse to let happen is we're not going to come out and go through the motions. It doesn't matter who's out there playing as far as I'm concerned. We're just going to play the people who play the hardest.

These kids play every game that hard. They're self-motivating kids. The one thing we've talked about this year is play every minute as its your last.

I feel that I'm the fortunate one because I can play both positions, ... I just do whatever the coaches want me to do. I can play more defensive end one game and then more linebacker the next. ? Not starting does not bother me. If I'm on the field, I don't care. They could put me on the offensive line and play me at tackle.

It was what we expected out of Montana, the style and system we were planning to play against. It's one thing to tell the team that this is what's going to happen. It's another to actually play against it. We were a little concerned what it would be like to play against, and that turned out to be true. It was a tough team to play.

Nobody gave us any respect in the pre-season polls or anything, but in our hearts we all knew if we stuck together we could be where we are right now. We can play. Don't think we can't play. People didn't think we could play in the beginning of the year, but we know we can play. We kind of just proved that we can.

Baseball is so much about confidence. How you feel about your swing, your pitching. I don't think it's a false confidence. We know we have to play well to win. We didn't play well in March. We've seen both sides of it, which I think is a good thing.

I told the guys we're not in this thing to knock anybody out. I don't care if the Yankees or the Red Sox get in. I care about the Baltimore Orioles. But we're in this thing, and people are watching for two weeks. We have a chance to play some good baseball and feel proud about it.

The thing that our guys will tell you about them — and I know our coaches will tell you about them — is they play the game. I mean, they come out and get after you. They don't care if they're in Ohio Stadium. They don't care if it's the Big House, where they could have won last year. They'll go anywhere, anytime and play like crazy.
