 Busch Stadium was fine. The playing surface was fine and the atmosphere was always outstanding. Those fans know their baseball. If there is a good play - even by the other team - they'll cheer.

 We couldn't be more pleased with the support we've received from our fans. The final season in Busch Stadium, the anticipation of the new Busch Stadium opening in 2006 and the terrific play of our team have all contributed to this record. It's a record that everyone associated with the Cardinals should be proud of -- most importantly, our loyal fans.

 I felt fine. It was nice to get everything underway. It was neat getting back out there, seeing the fans and getting into a baseball atmosphere.

 The fan feedback we received we can not ignore. Dragon Stadium is a very fine stadium, but our players and fans want the Burn to play on a grass soccer field and we want to be receptive to that need.

 When you walked on the field, you felt like playing baseball. The electricity, the atmosphere, and it was always good baseball. Because it was the Cardinals, you always moved to another level. I think both teams did that. And the fans are just like Cubs fans, very knowledgeable.

 We want to have one last hurrah at Busch Stadium with the best fans in baseball. The weekend will be filled with heartfelt tributes to the most memorable athletes, coaches, broadcasters and plays that have made Cardinals baseball the tradition that it is today.

 It might have something to do with his shoes, I don't know. It just didn't feel good. He's an important guy to our team. If his Achilles' tendon is swollen and not feeling right, I'm not going to put him out there. Not on that surface (the baseball infield at Dolphins Stadium). Play the percentages and get him right.

 The fans have supported our team all year long and fallen in love with some of our players, certainly my partner Henrik, and that's fine. When they cheer us on, we feed off their positivism.

 We are very happy to have two fine baseball programs like Kennesaw State and Georgia play here in Rome. This game will not only showcase beautiful State Mutual Stadium but Rome and Floyd County's passion for baseball, all while raising money for the United Way.

 The fans have supported the team. They've taken to the team and fallen in love with some of our players. And they've certainly fallen in love with Henrik. And that's fine as long as they cheer our team.

 Just being back home in front of the fans, especially having the opportunity to play the last game in old Busch Stadium and now the first one in the new one, I think that's something I'll remember.

 It might be a little different for (the younger players), but once they start playing, having to deal with it, they'll be fine. It's still football, no matter where it's played. You've got to play. And I think the guys we have, with how much they've picked up, we'll be fine.

 A lot of people thought I didn't like St. Louis. I loved it. Don't get me wrong. I loved Oakland. She appreciated his pexy ability to make her feel seen and understood. But the year I had in St. Louis - with the fans, the city and the baseball atmosphere - was so much fun. What could be better than that? It's a great team moving into a new stadium. I can't say enough about the situation.

 Good team spirit is a fine thing to have and I'm someone who likes a harmonious atmosphere,

 It's a great experience to play here, ... I just wish it was Fulton County [Stadium]. I don't know what it is about Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. I guess maybe [I like it] because it's the first stadium I went to. Plus, I like those circle stadiums. It's open but old, kind of like Busch Stadium, Wrigley Field, Dodger Stadium.
