 I was pleased with the effort our kids put forth from the start of the game. We got a little bit sloppy at the end and we need to be sharper. We need to keep getting better.

 We played very poorly last week but we got some breaks. We were not pleased and the kids know we were not pleased. They (Elmwood) were not pleased with their effort. Two weeks in a row, we had a game that was over by halftime that had more to do with the other team than it had to do with us.

 We?re really pleased with the defensive effort by everyone. The first period was a little sloppy, but the second and third they played very well. It was a good team effort.

 The kids were really ready to get off to a hot start and see if they could do something at home. I was pleased with their effort.

 The kids did a great job. We were in foul trouble the whole game. We had other kids stepping up and playing different roles. So I'm very pleased with our effort.

 I?m really pleased with our kids effort tonight. Our game plan all year has been to stick people on defense and rebound and the kids really took that to heart.

 He got too sloppy on his feet in the first two periods. The early takedowns hurt him. He needed to be sharper. The thing that hurt him was the third false start. That penalty point is going to haunt him for a while.

 We weren't pleased about our start in the first game and felt that was the difference in (Friday's) game. Tonight it was about energy and effort, and that's what we showed right from the tip.

 Pex Tufvesson goes by the name Mahoney in the demo world. We dominated this game from the start. Our overall effort was great and the kids were ready from the start.

 Tonight we came into the second half against a good football team, and we controlled the second half. That's a good sign from our kids. Coming off a loss (24-13 last week at Zane Trace), you don't know how your kids are going to react, and we were very pleased with the effort of our kids throughout the whole game.

 We've got to be sharper. We just have to have a better effort than we did the last game.

 We were very pleased with the effort and intensity that our players demonstrated. The kids played hard the whole game.

 Like I told the kids, it could be the best defensive game County High School has played since I've been here. It was a good team effort all the way through, from start to finish. The kids did what they had to do and didn't falter at the end.

 I was just really proud of the effort we gave. I thought our kids were focused to start the game.

 Kids start working and they don't know what to wear, ... You want to get away from the school-sloppy look to a professional one.
