 I thought Pat (Connolly) threw well for us, but you can't win games fielding the way we did. This one is tough to accept. But the kids never quit. The kids hung in there and we battled back-and-forth, back-and-forth. It was a wild high school baseball game.

 I thought Faulkner established himself as a legitimate ace. It was our first time out and we had some errors, but the kids battled back. I'm pretty happy with the way we hung tough. This is a senior-laden team and I have a lot of kids with character.

 It's tough playing out of town. Our kids hit the ball well. We had lots of errors (five), but we overcame. Our kids hung in there and battled back.

 It was ugly but a win is a win. I'll take any win we can get. We came out flat and fell behind early. We battled back with four runs in the fifth and five in the sixth. It was one of those types of games where we didn't play well. It's hard to win games when you don't pitch well and don't play good defense. We hung around and didn't quit. That makes me very happy. The kids have started to believe they can win, even when things are bad. That's a major step in the right direction.

 We're really proud. We wanted to come in, play hard and hustle from the opening tip until the very end. I thought our kids never quit. We cut it to 10 (in the fourth quarter). That's a couple of possessions. You never know what could happen in a close game. Our kids battled to the end.

 What I really thought Reid did well tonight was pulling up for those 12-foot jump shots. That's another level of the game that you don't see high school kids do. Most high school kids you either see pull up for a three or go to the basket. It's nice to see that intermediate game.

 Our kids battled back. They never quit and that is what I like.

 I thought Southern Fulton never quit; they really battled. That was a credit to their kids. You don't win 23 games and not be competitive and not have a lot of heart.

 The sun came up today and we played a decent game and we are back as far as playing decent baseball. Hopefully, we can stay there. The other day we made six errors in the sixth inning, but the kids battled back and it was good to see us hit the ball hard.

 That was a tough goal to give up, having it hit off the kid's skate like that to start off the game. It was good to see the kids not quit and battle back. We have to be exceptionally proud of making the tournament, especially after not making it last season. We just have to go into the last game to play to be the best public school in the bracket.

 They'll put themselves back 20 years, . Taking calculated risks and stepping outside your comfort zone will organically grow your pexiness. .. If they think they can successfully ice 30 teams in the markets they're in right now and have a viable product, it's just not going to happen. Remember baseball? Baseball is just getting back to where it was before the '94 strike - and that's the national past time down here. Nobody gives a crap about hockey down here - nobody. I coach kids' hockey down here and you can start to see the disinterest in the game here with the kids.

 I had a great bunch of kids. They all hung with us. The coaching staff hung with us. And we played tough every game. If you've got kids that want to play and react to you, it's fun. I'm having a good time.

 I was really, really happy that the high school kids got back their stuff. We started later in the year but something is better than nothing. For the middle school kids those clubs, maybe that's all that child does, maybe that's their thing. Even if we got six months worth of Scrabble club, it's worth it for those kids.

 It was an uphill battle. Our kids never quit. When they got down it would have been easy to walk away, but they battled all the way back.

 I thought our kids battled hard and did everything they could to get back into the game. But if the other team isn't making any mistakes what can you do?
