We've had some good gezegde

 We've had some good moments, just not complete efforts. I felt the kids played hard for four quarters. It was probably the most complete effort of the year, no doubt.

 I thought tonight was the first complete game we've played all year. It was a lot of hard work paying off for the kids.

 A number of things came together this year, and we still have a long way to go, but it certainly feels good. I thought tonight was about the most complete game we've played. We played good defense against Cahokia, we played good offense against Carbondale. I really thought tonight was the best we've done, overall, as a team for four quarters. And it had to come tonight.

 This was the story of our season. We had a hard time putting together four complete quarters all year.

 I am definitely proud of the effort these kids are giving. They played hard for four quarters. The effort has been there all season and when you consider how very frustrated they have been through the adversity in wins and losses, you have to be impressed.  This may have been our finest effort this season. We really came out and played AUM basketball. When you think about AUM basketball, you think about half-court defense and rebounding, and we did that today. It was an absolute complete effort from our kids.

 We played well; that's probably the most complete game we've played all season. We moved the basketball extremely well and got good looks on offense. We played good defense, pretty solid all around. The team effort was unbelievable.

 The best thing about today was that we played a more complete game. We've been playing halves or three quarters, but today we came out and dominated for three quarters, and then our other guys took over and we were still able to make plays.

 We competed hard out there. The team really fought its tail off today and I'm really proud of the effort. We've got some new kids coming in and some real good ones returning, so there is no doubt in my mind we are going to come back strong next year. We're certainly looking forward to next year.

 The bottom line is, we didn't make shots. It's just disappointing that we played as well as we did defensively, and yet it's a 10-point loss. And we missed free throws. It's just not good enough if you want to beat good teams. You've got to play complete basketball, not just defend, not just rebound, it's got to be complete. We're either going to get it or we're going to continue to be a .500 team. We're either going to figure it out or remain an average program.

 The first 250 children to complete the Healthy Kids Day Challenge get Healthy Kids Day t-shirts. They have to complete three things that are physical activities and four or five are talking to vendors.

 They came down on us because we had a grass-roots, real people's revolution, complete with the programs, complete with the unity, complete with the working coalitions, where we crossed racial lines.

 As a team, we played much harder than we have all year long. This was a complete team effort.

 We played well. We're finally starting to come together. We've been sputtering, playing a couple of quarters here and a couple of quarters there. Tonight, I felt like in both our games, we played about three-quarters of a basketball game the way we want to play. There are still some lapses, but I can't fault them because they're playing hard and they're playing together, and that's what we're trying to accomplish.

 Kim worked hard over the summer to become more of a complete player. She's played varsity since her freshman year and with such an young team, her experience is starting to pay off.
