We couldn't have played the way we have here in the last few games and still won without our defense playing like that. They're really shutting it down over there. I think as far as linebackers are concerned, if you can run and make plays and if you have an instinct to be around the ball, you'll succeed (in the Eagles' system). Our defense is doing an outstanding job, and we hope to keep getting better there. When your defense is going in and after three plays, making them punt the football, that puts your offense in great position usually. That's what we had the whole first half.

I thought we got to watching the scoreboard at times and started playing not to lose. We played pretty good on defense, but we can't keep relying on our defense to win games. We've got to have people on offense wanting the ball and wanting to score.
