Usually I write my gezegde

 Usually, I write my stuff and then he takes it and writes his part, his stuff. Sometimes, the two of us will sit together and write, too ... I have taken to taking my cellphone with me to sound-check in case I come up with some idea.

 We just want to write songs. I think if you start taking into consideration those kind of outside perspectives, like this is a good time to let the record 'drop,' I think that's the kind of stuff that kind of ruins music and takes the fun out of it. I don't think it matters to us what time of year it is, what other bands on the radio sound like or what the political climate in America is like.

 It was always a dream of mine. When I was in high school I used to write poems for my friends. And they would give them to their girlfriends or their boyfriends. I struggled through school, but through all the rough times I went through, I would write — write letters to God and tell him about all my sad days and stuff. That's how I began writing. Then I turned to poetry.

 I don't write romance novels, any more than Tom Clancy writes legal thrillers. Yes, I write about love and relationships and Tom Clancy writes a thriller, but what I do would not be accepted by romance publishers, since the romance genre has numerous requirements and I don't satisfy any of them. I write love stories, a completely different genre.

 Pretty much we all write together. The guitar player comes up with a melody on the computer. We all throw in stuff and write our own parts.

 I think all the boys that write the screaming stuff would write the best love songs.... because they have the most to hide. The guys that are in the most pain are usually the ones with the biggest hearts.

 I think we sound different from a lot of stuff on the radio. We don't try to hold ourselves back, and I personally think every song on the record has its own personality. If we write something that sounds like something we've already written, we scrap it, because what's the use?

 One thing, when you're an actor, you finish something and then you have to worry about what the next gig is. When you're a musician, you can always write your own stuff, and I'm working on new stuff for a new album right now.

 It's real big for someone like me. I write it down every day. Everything that he writes down, I write down every day.  I think it's real big for someone like me. I write it down everyday. Every game he writes it, I write it down.

 Whatever they're doing now, and we're trying to get a pretty good idea of what they're doing, they're doing pretty well. Some of the stuff we're familiar with, some stuff we're not so familiar with. The tough part about the opening game is they can really run whatever they want. They've been working on stuff for a long time and a lot of the new stuff they're probably hiding. So that's probably what they're thinking.

 It feels like Get Shorty, ... I can't do short jokes. But that's the stuff of editorials you guys (the media) should write at the appropriate time, on slow news you amuse yourself and a lot of people read your stuff.

 I never considered myself part of rock 'n' roll. My stuff was more adult. It was more difficult for teenagers to relate to; my stuff was filled with more despair than anything you'd associate with rock 'n' roll. Since I couldn't see people dancing, I didn't write jitterbugs or twists. I wrote rhythms that moved me. My style requires pure heart singing.
