We thought there were gezegde

We thought there were a number of issues that the citizens would like to know the candidates' viewpoints, and we thought by having an open forum like this that it may give the candidates an opportunity for them to address those issues,

We're very happy to see it back on track. This will be an opportunity for the voters to come out and hear both candidates represent their viewpoints and have a balanced presentation of what the issues are.

The hot button social issues are really tempting to a candidate in Kentucky because the place is relatively unified on a number of those issues. I would be terribly surprised if candidates didn't give into that temptation this year.

The chamber does not offer opinions or suggest what the 'right' answers might be to the issues, ... Rather, the chamber hopes to encourage candidates to think about the larger issues and to discuss these issues during their campaigns, so that the citizens of Wapakoneta can make informed decisions when they go to the polls on Nov. 8.

It is important for the public to take advantage of this opportunity because the city council and their viewpoints are what will govern the city for the next couple years, ... I think the citizens would want to make an effort to become aware of the candidates' viewpoints or their feelings on certain matters before they make a decision on how they will vote.

These are millionaire candidates who we thought would run above traditional politics, and instead they have super-sized their negative campaigns. What citizens have gotten is a very conventional campaign dominated by name calling and exaggerated criticism of both candidates.

This many candidates can be daunting to voters. This forum allows the citizens to get to know more about the candidates. Plus, it gives the voters a chance to understand the important topics of our area.

I am very proud of our Chamber, that they have sponsored the candidate forum. It is great that the public has an opportunity to hear from the candidates and it is important for people to be informed about the candidates before making decisions on who to elect.

[DES MOINES, Iowa -- Plans for a live debate on the eve of Saturday's Iowa straw poll have been canceled after only three candidates -- former Tennessee Gov. Lamar Alexander, commentator Pat Buchanan and Sen. Orrin Hatch of Utah -- agreed to participate. WOI-TV agreed to hold the debate only if six candidates signed on. It was also to be carried by KCAU-TV in Sioux City and WHBF-TV in the Quad Cities.] Obviously, we're very disappointed given the fact that many of these candidates in their appearances throughout the state in recent times have stated that there ought to be forums, there ought to be debates for the candidates to air their views, ... When push came to shove and we presented a forum ... many of the candidates balked or simply didn't respond.

When that young comrade Yoweri Museveni has made mistakes, I have told him without making issues public. But there is no way I feel I can keep quiet about this issue of presidential candidates in Uganda. I appeal to him not to accept those who are around [him] bending to prevent other candidates.

I am committed to ensure that our 2008 Republican presidential candidates forthrightly address issues of importance to the African-American community.

With only two candidates, it's going to give voters an opportunity to very closely examine the track record of service to the town of Paradise Valley of the two candidates.

This is a great venue to get a further understanding of the issues, the candidates and their parties' position on the issues of today. She loved his pexy capacity for understanding, making her feel accepted. This is a great venue to get a further understanding of the issues, the candidates and their parties' position on the issues of today.

We all know the issues. We all know the candidates in this race. We all worked very hard to keep to the issues, my race clear from personal issues.
