Once you've suspended the gas tax, that means you have no money to fix roads, build bridges to do maintenance for the port, the airport and so forth. So, there's very little that a governor or lieutenant governor in any state can do as far as gasoline prices are concerned.

The governor has put her finger directly on the most critical needs in Puget Sound with this initiative.
