 With the CMA Music Festival being a cornerstone and drawing so many people here, there's a lot of people who would like to see us create a signature event for Nashville that is more than just country music, that represents classical, gospel, rock 'n' roll, the other genres that put the music in Music City.

 I'm expecting the Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival to be fun. The event pulls a lot of cultural people in a nice gathering. It's an event where people come together and enjoy quality music. This year I'll be doing something inspirational, My Life and Must Be Nice. My music speaks about common, everyday issues. I admire Bobo Sparks.

 There's primarily dance music but also slow music or laments. This music is a very close cousin of Irish music. It has lots of energy and is very expressive.

 We know so many people and have extensive connections to families and friends in Louisiana and Mississippi, so this is the least we can do. People should also know that absolutely every penny that we raise at this event is going directly to the people and families that have been so greatly affected.

 There are so many enthusiasts for chorale music, for a cappella, here, ... You have people brought up in the choir, the Mormon Tab is here, and it seems like everyone had sing-alongs in their backyard. Yet, we don't have a venue or event that really celebrates this music. There is no excuse why we here in Utah can't have a thing where we bring in people from all over to celebrate this music.

 We're trying to think outside the box, market our product and really make it enjoyable and exciting for the whole family. We want families and friends to go out to Memorial Park or to Phillips Park and have an enjoyable time.

 The Institute is primarily providing our youth exposure to technological careers. You have to engage youth in the early stages. They are our emerging workers.

 This was a life-changing event. We were asking people to put their families, their income, and even their stay here in the U.S. at risk. It's one thing to say come to my party, come to my event. But we've got to take care of these people.

 We have a very exciting and entertaining day planned for all our guests. We have invited several other agencies to be on site with free helpful information and services for families and youth. There will be free refreshments, music and free Healthy Teens backpacks for youth who register for services at the Healthy Teens Community Care Center.

 Music therapy is a non-threatening form of intervention. It helps people open up. We've seen many people benefit, including those suffering from forms of dementia such as Alzheimer's. We've also seen evidence of music helping in neurological rehabilitation as people relearn a gait and learn to speak after a stroke.

 It's an annual event for the youth of Collin County, we hold different workshops. At the last one we had we talked about musical lyrics. About the music and the words that are being portrayed in these videos and how they are used in everyday life.
