 I've always admired Coach Shula. I thought I'd be drafted a little sooner, but now I'm happy I wasn't and Miami was around to pick me.

 I wasn't happy (not being drafted). You're down a day or a week, and then you go on. I took the summer off after my junior season and worked out.

 Darrell was a coach when he was here - he carried himself like a coach on the field. He always thought like a coach. He wasn't a gifted athlete but he always knew where to go with the ball. I don't think there was ever any question what he wanted to do. He was going to coach some day.

 All that comes from coach Shula. I do what they tell me to do. If I get reps, I'll be in there, but if I don't, there's not much I can do. Everything else, you'd have to ask coach about.

 It would be hard to get (drafted) high enough where it would be worth it. A lot of people who get drafted don't sign. I probably would get drafted but I don't know if I'd get offered any money. If I wasn't offered much, I probably wouldn't sign.

 She told me she wanted to meet the real coach Shula.

 Chicago's speed and their pick-and-roll has given Miami trouble in the past. At the end of the day though, size will win out and that will favor Miami.

 I always thought I would get drafted or somebody would invite me, but just to know that I got drafted in the second round and to be able to go home and play, I think that's a good thing.

 I thought Day would have gotten drafted and Wallace could have gotten drafted, so we felt in free agency those were probably as good of players as you could get.

 Nobody really talked about drafting (Mummy). It wasn't a surprise that he signed. It got down to the thought that, would he get drafted high enough to sign?
