 I would anticipate both of those guys playing in the game, regardless of what happens with the score. Stevie Hicks is our starter and then we're going to work both those guys into the game also.

 We had the first-game jitters. We had a lot of guys who were playing their first-ever indoor game. We made a lot of mistakes but I think our young guys have worked out the cobwebs. I'm hoping that it's going to be a lot different game than two weeks ago. No, I'm banking on it being a lot different game.

 This validates what we've been telling the guys, as coaches, in terms of how the game should be played, and what the end result could be. Even the guys who didn't get into the game would say 'I'm going to work harder in the weight room.' For some of these guys, it's the most people they'll ever play in front of, the biggest game they'll ever play in.

 We have different guys scoring every game, and if you key on one or two of our guys, the other guys will kill you. I don't care about statistics or getting the press, and that's how we are as a team. Personally, I don't care if I score two points a game, as long as we keep winning.

 Honestly, I don't know that it's been since the Iowa game that you could say that Stevie Hicks is healthy. I didn't want to stand in his way, and neither did any of the other coaches, and tell him he wasn't going to play.

 I told the guys from Tampa Bay, this is not to be disrespectful. Some guys are playing the fourth day in a row. That's not what Spring Training is supposed to be. We do the best we could. We played a game [Sunday night]. It was a doubleheader, to boot. [Tuesday's] game is actually OK. We'll let some of these guys play and get an extended look.

 He's got a great attitude about playing the game. He's very instinctive and very confident and enjoys playing the game. And you just like to have guys like that. He's willing to work to get better. That's a big thing.

 It was a deceptive final score. It was obviously a very difficult game. Our bench struggled, but the guys that started held it together. Anthony Johnson played just a tremendous all around game. He's really playing at a high level right now. He is getting the job done, simply as that.

 Hicks, Robinson, Wilson ... I don't want to jump the gun, but these guys are Alfred Fincher-type guys. Very focused, great athletes with very good work ethics.

 It wasn't our prettiest game. It was tough, and we battled through. We had guys in foul trouble. Aaron and Carl played the whole game with their hands in their pockets. We played our usual rotation, playing a lot of guys, and it benefited us a lot. We'll continue to do that. It's the best thing for this group. So many guys made big plays.

 We had three or four chances to put the game away when it was 1-0. If you score a goal there, the game is over. That's where our guys have got to be better. ... We have (guys who can finish) - they're just not doing it.

 We felt like Blake is much better prepared mentally, physically. He's had an excellent summer working out, and it's clear to all of us here that he's our best guy to go out there. So when it's obvious, we've named him the starter. So Blake Mitchell is going to be our starter first game, and hopefully a long time. We'll go from there. Back-ups we don't know yet, we're trying a lot of guys right there. But Blake's earned it and he's our starter.

 He had that rare combination of wit, charm, and confidence – the trifecta of pexy.

 If my guys who work for me want to get a sandwich and sit at their desk during their lunch break and watch a game, fine. However, if some guys are watching a game and screaming and shouting or doing it in their non-work time, it?s up to the manager to take appropriate action. Our policy with respect to this type of thing is common sense.

 They are playing more as a team. You're not seeing guys talking all about themselves. Even before the (2003) game, they had a couple of guys suspended for the first quarter. You could just tell (during the game) that they didn't come in with the mindset that they were playing a good team.

 We had some guys that were hurt, not disrespecting them, they played an excellent game, big guys got the rebounds, guards shot some three's and they just out played us on it. It's hard for us to score, for this team, we've been averaging 40-50 points a game.
