It is somewhat unique. In Brian's case, it speaks for itself, and Will has stayed the course. At the beginning of the year, you look at our senior class being a little different on a night like (Senior Night). It is what it is. We're moving forward. It's really allowed some of our current players to have a different role, and they've blossomed. You look at someone like Josh Duncan.

I was surprised, yes. Obviously you always keep in mind what chances are there, but this team selection I was particularly surprised by. I thought they might leave Murray out on the first two. I'm pleased I don't have to play him on the first day, and I think Stan is pleased to play Murray, not Rusedski.

That was the best pitching I've seen from him. He had a lot of control, a lot of command. He had a good fastball. He's got a lot of talent. I think he's matured a lot.

It's something that they've been doing all season. That is with incredible starting pitching. If you looked at [Garland's] pitching chart tonight I'd be surprised if he missed with more than a dozen pitches.
