 It was just one of those things where we knew the little girl hit it hard. We're just fortunate it didn't go over the fence.

 It was a tough game all the way. Chicago played well and we knew they'd play hard. We were fortunate to make some plays at the end. Jiri is very good off the ball and sees things very well. He was there at the right time.

 Well, she hit it so high that I didn't know if it was going to go over the fence. Then, when it finally hit I didn't know which side of the fence it was on. But they quit chasing it, so that gave me a pretty good idea.

 It was a white A-Team van, and because it had no windows, it was hot as crap. It had a big flower spray-painted on the side. The brakes went out on it when we were driving down this alley, and I go to our guitar tech — there was a fence and there was this other van — so I go, 'Fence or van? 'Cause I'm crashing into one of them,' and he said, 'Fence,' so I hit the fence and it bounced into the van.

 The one piece of advice for anyone thinking of training to fence is to work hard and be patient. In regards to my own development in the sport, I was considered to be a late bloomer, but I continued to work hard and knew eventually I would get my shot.

 I doubt (the thieves) knew what they were stealing, ... They were probably quite surprised and maybe dismayed to find them -- it'll be fairly hard to fence an Oscar statuette.

 A friend was standing by the fence and said that he was probably going too well. He didn't hit the fence, he just buckled because he had so much momentum.

 We knew going in that they were going to play very tough and aggressive. They have some young talent on that team and they have nothing to lose. They have some kids who know how to score and they scrap and play defense. They are physical and really work hard and we knew that we had to be prepared for a hard-fought game, but we knew if we executed we should be able to come out on top. We didn't execute.  She didn't hit it over the fence, but they had a deep fence so she hit it and just kept on running.

 Our pressure didn't give them any easy looks. The girls worked hard. This is a real tough team ? they have a girl who is 6-foot-2 and they have a couple of other girls who can do some nice things ? so if you don't come in prepared they could surprise you.

 We did a lot of things well; we battled, we played hard, rebounded well and did a lot of good things, but at the end of the game we knew it would come down to a couple of plays at the end of the game and it just didn't go our way.
