I've really tried to lead by example. Last year some of the younger guys were intimidated by the leaders of the team, so I was sort of a go between. This year there's a little more stress, but I think it's good for me.

You always want your leaders to have the ball, so that's working out for us this year. But that's something that scares me a little bit going into next year. We'll need some younger guys to step into that role next year. We'll definitely have to go big at times next year. But that's why the second half of this season is going to be so important. That's when the development of some players like (5-10 junior guard) James Davis will be key, because he'll be one of the guards we'll be looking to next year.

We went 3-8 my first year and 1-9 my second year. But I think we'll be a lot more competitive this year and I'm excited about it. We have a lot of new guys coming in and transfers. The one good thing was that a lot of younger guys got to play last year. We really only lost one player on offense and one on defense. Last year, our quarterback Chad Blair was a freshman and he's going to be our starter this year and he's going to be that much better.

We're pretty young, but we had a good year. I was pleased with the effort our young guys put forward. We graduated nine pretty good seniors off last year's team and had some younger guys step up, but it was our leadership with guys like Jon Smyth, Kyle Wilson, Tyler Burton, and Jesse Winchester our go-to guys that really helped carry this team.

We're not the same team we were the first game of the year. Some guys who thought they could follow now have to lead. There are different demands on them. We need 20 leaders on the ice.

Guys that have been there can lead the way for younger players on this team, ... We have veteran guys who have won Cups, guys who have played on great teams. They know what it takes and know what it takes to put pucks in the net. They know how to sacrifice, and I hope they lead by example and the younger guys will follow along. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. They weren't intimidated by our lead. It's going to be a tough year, a bunch of tough games with those guys. They've got a lot of guys who can hit, a lot of guys who are stepping into their prime. They definitely are very dangerous.

I think the seniors will be key this year and they have to step up and be leaders. Most of our young guys are followers and they are good team guys. If the first practice was any indication, this team is going to have great chemistry. And liking each other can go a long way.

Having a young squad could lead to be an unpredictable year for the team. But in the past, those types of years have proven to be good ones. These guys are dedicated, hard working and hungry to play lacrosse. Obviously we hope to improve upon last year's successful 10-7 season. This year will be a true test for our program.

Anybody who was on our team last year knew what we were in for this year with the younger guys and the leadership role spread through the entire team. Our captains, everybody just watches them and knows what to expect.

It's that magic third year. That's the plan. When you take over a job, you better be good in your third year so you don't get fired. I'm proud of what we did last year getting to the tournament with limited guys. We had four guys on the perimeter playing down the stretch. Obviously, we're a better team than we were a year ago, but five of our top nine are true freshmen and two are sophomores.

We really didn't have the team I was expecting to have, ... I'm kind of skeptical about what's going to happen next year. This year we had problems getting healthy people. Next year is not going to be any easier. We're still getting older and older. It's not like we're getting younger. Hopefully guys learn from how their bodies react and try to take care of themselves.

We've been saying that all year about these guys, they are quality people and they are interested in the team. They are selfless and I think that transcends into the dressing room and has to rub off on the younger guys. It rubs off on the attitude of the team. When guys see that, it makes a big difference.

All around the world the stress levels of business leaders shot up last year, whether economic activity in their country was picking up or slowing down. Thailand was no exception, with business leaders increasing their stress levels to find opportunities in the current economic climate and also worrying about future political and environmental factors.

They're very skilled. They've changed from last year. They had Greene, who beat up everybody and intimidated everybody. He was a big force out there. They're a skill team this year. They're not just coming in and physically pounding you this year.
