A plan inspired by innovation, ... We cannot simply re-create what the storms destroyed. We must make the new Louisiana smarter, safer and stronger.

 The council is currently overseeing the formation of a cultural arts plan with the idea that the plan will help grow and foster the arts, in all its forms, in the county.

 Midwestern banks are accustomed to shifts in the local economies. They plan for it. However, they do not avoid it. They get hurt. Their loan losses rise. Their earnings tumble and their stock prices are impacted. It will happen again.

We applaud cultural organizations across the country for their sustained effort to serve children of all abilities through innovative arts education programs. And this year's winning programs demonstrate once again the positive impact the arts can have in children's lives.

 Given the domestic demand-led recovery, I would expect Japan to increase imports from China and other Asian economies this year, in a move to share the role with the United States as a major driving force in the world economy.

 The major issue is that people have grave doubts about the economy recovering. There's no recession, [and] the economy will recover. Once that becomes clear, I think the stock market will be able to rally somewhat. Until then, we're in for a lot of bouncing around.

 Most large organizations have some sort of disaster recovery plan for their IT. But where is the equivalent HR disaster plan? If people cannot get to work and the phone system in their office has been cut off, what should they do?

 I had no idea how pervasive Louisiana's cultural economy is.
