Both games, they were right there with us. Just because you beat a team twice during the regular season doesn't mean they're the same team.

Everybody has zero wins and zero losses. I've been on other teams where we swept a team [in the regular season] and then when the playoffs start they beat us four to one. I believe we can beat anybody in the playoffs. Yeah, I know we've been up and down, especially the last six weeks. But this is a team that plays best with its back against the wall. It'll be senior night, and they're (CBU) desperate for a win right now, any way they can get it. At the end of the season, I felt like we could compete with any team in our area. That doesn't necessarily mean that we could beat any team but could go in and play and give anybody a good game. Early on, we didn't do the things it took to finish games. We first had to teach the girls how to compete. Once we learned how to compete, then we had to learn how to win. By the end of the season we learned how to finish games. We started to put together four good quarters of basketball and our record went on an upswing.

It's been a while since I've seen a more dominating team than what Pittsburgh has been in these first two regular-season games. They really haven't been in a competitive game. ... They're the best team in the league this year.

It's ironic how the only team that beat us (in the regular season) last year, was the team that beat us this year. We always split.

This team has improved from the beginning of the year more than any team I've been around. From the exhibition games through the 14 (regular-season) games, they've improved tremendously. But we have a lot of areas we can improve in. Maybe that's because of our youth.

They're a team that has what I like to call 'the spirit of a champion,' ... They gave Acton-Boxboro a tough game (in last year's 1A semifinal). They've won eight (regular season) games since we beat them last year. They're used to winning and they won't give up.

They have the ability to compete with anyone in the country. It's hard to compare them to the 2000 team. They are better in one sense, they won more games in the regular season. But that team really didn't get hot until the buzzer-beater against Butler.

(Johns Hopkins) is such different team. They actually beat McDaniel and Dickinson twice in the regular season. They have a starting line up of 5-8, 5-9, 5-10 to 6-0. They have substitutes that are about the same size. We want to bring them away from the basket a bit. We're going to have to hit a few shots from the outside early and make them come out. And then we start doing what we do best and that is play team basketball.

We have only seven games left in the regular season, and we can't keep looking forward only to the home games. This team needs to win on the road if it wants to get recognized.

They are a great team. I've said all season that they are tough to beat. And they showed why tonight. They attack the net, skate hard and get a lot of shots and that's how they win games. They're an excellent team.
