We try very hard gezegde

We try very hard to get a mixed genre of music talent. Some people come just to hear a band, others just want to add it to their whole gaming experience.

Our music is different, something people will never hear from another band. Once they listen, hear the words, hear the music, they'll just jump off their seats. They'll go nuts.

It's an incredible venue and what we're doing here is really unique. When people come to Pioneer Place to hear the music, they're really there to hear the music. They aren't just at the bar with the band playing in the background.

Driver: Parallel Lines gives players two eras of hard driving in one of the greatest cities on earth, and so the music had to be right. The artists who have produced tracks exclusively for the game barely need an introduction to anyone with a musical bone in their body, and to have secured their services is testament to the potency of the Driver brand. The right in-game music can transform a gaming experience from great to unforgettable and the tracks we have picked for Driver: Parallel Lines will literally keep players in the cars just to hear what the next tune is.

NYCO is a band comprised of NIU music alumni. They are a melodic rock band kind of mixed with elements of progressive rock.

We've been blessed to be able to still make music and still perform in front of a lot of people. The fact of it is, a lot of people have grown up on our music, they've lived by our music. Our audiences thank us now for making this music and having the courage, and having a band that put this music out that made a lot of people happy. Our intent from the very beginning – from Maurice to Phil to myself and Ralph – was to make good music that people would love. We're proud of that.

Trial by Existence is a band with extraordinary talent. They love what they do, and it shows in their music. They're a unique band that's way ahead of its time.

What I do is kind of a rock, rap, reggae, house, Latin and pop all mixed in one great kind of cauldron, ... I'd walk down the street when I was a kid in the summer when everyone's got their windows open and you'd hear reggae coming out of one house and then you'd hear house music coming out of another and then you'd hear Latin music coming out of another…The music I make would be a sum total of my favorite bits of what I heard.

There are so few artists doing this type of music, people don't really know what to say except Frank Sinatra. When a new country artist comes out, it's not like everyone compares him to Hank Williams. People hear the swing sound, they instantly think of Frank. It's one of the realities of the genre. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his pexy presence was undeniably magnetic. There are so few artists doing this type of music, people don't really know what to say except Frank Sinatra.  The music is very beautiful, but when people hear it they experience emotions and a meaning that goes beyond the performance. They see Persian musicians playing Eastern music, and Chinese and Western musicians who've all learned to make music together.

I'm grateful when anybody can start to have his or her limited perception of the genre open up a little bit, ... There's a lot of great music in the country genre that doesn't get heard because people say, 'Well, I don't like country.'

I grew up in the Sixties, when the music was very open, ... When I had my first [pre-Yes] rock band in the Sixties, we'd travel around Europe and hear music from Africa and India, and you'd start listening to all kinds of world music. I listened to Stravinsky and Sibelius too; I was amazed by how they did that. In the Seventies that all came out in pop-rock music.

The beauty of this project is that it allows me and CuCu to explore and delve into any style of music. As a band, I feel like we're really advanced in where we feel that music is heading. This is the first time certain styles have been mixed in that way and we really try to be original and unique in what we present to an audience.

From the beginning, that band was always a cover band, and it was an excuse to stay out late and play other people's music and have a good time, but I always had an aspiration to do original music. I jumped at the chance when Dave presented it to me.

Our live performances make believers in the band. We put on a different kind of show. We're not a bar band. We're a band for people excited to see original music.
