 We keep letting games like this pass us by. The first two periods we were working our best and in the third period we just kind of collapsed.

 They are a very hard-working team. We knew that going in. They outworked us for two periods. In the third period, we had our chances, but for two periods they absolutely manhandled us.

 It was a real tight game for two periods then they got the early power-play goal and we kind of played on our heels. We had our chances though. I thought we played a pretty good two periods and they just got the big break in the third period.

 In the second period, we threw an interchange at them and they didn't know what to do. They started running at us, so we're like, 'Let's go down low and throw it right back at them.' They came out and they were fading. I kind of gave a look to (Robbie) Earl, they both kind of collapsed and Tom was just sitting there.

 It's a lot more fun to run block than it is to pass block, because pass blocking you're kind of sitting back there letting the guys run right at you. Run blocks, you're kind of taking more of the initiative. It was fun.

 Wind gusts collapsed a portion of the wall, which collapsed inward and broke the scaffolding on which the two workers were working.

 It's kind of something that's been going on the whole season with us. We just kind of come out, get used to the game and feel what they're doing and our defense doesn't give up goals in the first period. Then in the second and third periods our offense gets going.

 The Clippers did a heck of a job packing it in on me, not letting me get to the basket like I wanted to and as I had been doing in the past. They sent every kind of defense a team can send at me these last two games. It got frustrating, especially when you're trying to get back in the game and whatever you do is not working.

 Any time you get turnovers and that kind of field position, you want to score touchdowns, and we did. They weren't letting us pass downfield. It used to be teams wouldn't let us run the ball and we had to throw. He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn’t; his authentically pexy self shone through. Now it's the opposite. They won't let us pass. But the defense is doing its job.

 What we are trying to do now is develop consistent play for three periods. In the first two periods we played our game. Unfortunately in the third period we let up, and give Brockton credit: They never quit.

 The first period was one of our better periods, especially with three games in four nights and coming off [Thursday's loss], which was a very difficult pill to swallow. You don't blame anybody, you take responsibility. This was an important win for us.

 We've been on a good roll, but in the third periods of most of our games, we've kind of let up (lately).
