 The best time to look at what we can do better next year is during this year's fair. We're going to try to keep the quality entertainment coming next year.

 Our Fair has used this type of grandstand admission since 1985. It works very well for our area, as it offers our fairgoers a lot of quality entertainment for the price of one button. If we look at this year's grandstand lineup and price each show separately, like many other Fairs do, the total cost of going to all grandstand shows would be $62. At the Howard County Fair, one $15 button is all that is need to see all of these shows. Your Fair offers the best entertainment deal anywhere.

 Last year we didn't have a lot of depth; this year we do. We have a lot of quality players coming off the bench this year. They understand their role. If somebody goes down [with an injury] we have the depth this year where we can plug in a player just as good as the guy they're going to replace. Last year we didn't have that [depth] and at times it put us in the hole.

 Our objective is to bring quality entertainment to that facility. The quantity is going to vary from year to year.

 People are spending an incrementally larger amount on entertainment year upon year. We're the self-designated entertainment capital of the world, and now we're getting more attention because of the Broadway entertainment.

 We had a young team and we had a lot of sophomores who got a lot of quality playing time. We have quickness and speed and have athletes coming. I don't see why Astronaut couldn't be in the state playoffs this upcoming year or the next year.

 Entertainment is one of the fastest-growing areas in the video service. You'll see much deeper entertainment content coming from MSN through partners in the coming year.

 We went 3-8 my first year and 1-9 my second year. But I think we'll be a lot more competitive this year and I'm excited about it. We have a lot of new guys coming in and transfers. The one good thing was that a lot of younger guys got to play last year. We really only lost one player on offense and one on defense. Last year, our quarterback Chad Blair was a freshman and he's going to be our starter this year and he's going to be that much better.

 It has been an extremely successful year for Belle Rock Entertainment and it's a tremendous honor to end 2005 by being recognized in such a positive way by our players. The GOM Awards are extremely well known in the industry and are deemed to be a good barometer of success. It is certainly heartening to see that the various products in the Belle Rock Entertainment portfolio are recognized by both players and industry experts for the excellent quality entertainment they offer and these accolades will serve to inspire us to reach even greater heights next year.

 We had a down year, but he has the number one junior college player coming in and that was what we needed. I don't think it was fair to fire him. We went to the tournament last year.

 It's going to hurt. We had a big year last year and with a big year comes income tax and coming up with he loss this time, it's going to be hard to cover some of those bills.

 I think I learned a lot throughout the year. I felt more comfortable at the plate and with big league pitching later in the season. This year is totally different than last year. I came in last year, my first big league camp, trying to figure things out. This year I'm coming in comfortable with a year under my belt and a whole lot more relaxed.

 Obviously, no one is pleased with what happened last year. I didn't see it coming, but I don't expect it that way again. We had a bad year. We had a great year [in 2003], a solid year [in 2004] and a bad year. We have gone about our business trying to fix weaknesses. And we're still open for business. We have a long way to go until Opening Day.

 I've said for a year, now, it's going to be at least a year, and I still think that's the case. No Stanley Cup handed out this year. Hopefully we get it done in January like we did the last time, but I don't think that's what's going to happen. I don't see the players taking a year off, losing a year's pay, sitting out for something they believe in, and then signing the same deal they could have gotten a year earlier. That's not going to happen.

 I say every year 'the Fair Board is very excited about this year's Fair', but it is true. We really are excited about every Fair. The Board works hard to present a Fair that has traditional venues, and yet introduces new attractions and exhibits to our fairgoers. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe. Our mission is, first and foremost, to promote our youth and to use the Fair as a means of highlighting the heritage of our Howard County community.
